“After trying several CrossFit gyms in Denver and leaving unimpressed, I decided to give Train a try. I went to one class and signed up immediately. Brooke and her team are some of the best, if not THE BEST, coaches in Denver. All of the coaches are attentive, consistently make form recommendations, and provide recommendations for appropriate scaling (if needed) so that participants get a great workout, but avoid injury. The workouts are tough and you will get your a** kicked, but you won’t get hurt. I have been to so many gyms where coaches barely pay attention, which leads to poor form and injuries. I also have to mention the community at Train. Everyone I’ve met and worked out with is kind and encouraging. This community is great if you’re a super human athlete, or if you’re a beginner. It’s a judgement free zone where you get stronger together, and get to meet some really amazing people. I cannot recommend Train enough! It’s a gem, and is hands-down the best CrossFit box I’ve ever been to.”

The lobster spaghetti is a must--and the sweet corn tortellini, but really everything was amazing: the watermelon arugula salad, the halibut, the dessert. “These guys are amazing. I’ll forever buy makita because of them. I had a drill for just over 3 years and it had just gone out of warranty when it randomly just died. Not only did it die though, it fried my battery. Thinking it was a dead battery I tossed a charged one in there and it fried that one too. I went in and they immediately gave me new batteries. Not only that but an upgraded version since mine were a tad older, but not past the 3 years. After leaving my drill there for a couple months (they kept going back to the rep for me) they ended up swapping it out. The drill I got was a very heavy duty drill and they had only seen one other break ever. And that guy dropped his 3 stories. My electronics inside fried somehow, not even wear. They ended up getting me a new drill after it, love these guys.”

I could understand if some of the receptionists are friendly and some are not. It was useful to know to bring a checkbook- that probably contributed to my feeling satisfied. The doctors were competent, and the older Dr. Monheit was really friendly. Honestly, I don't understand why there are such negative reviews.”
