“The education my 2 girls are getting is top notch and I am surprised (in a good way) at the stuff they come home talking about that they are learning. It's a small but growing school, and it really instills a sense of community and love among the kids, even in different grades, and among the kids and the teachers. Love the school, teachers and the administrators.”

“I visited the Rock in a dire time of need. Having just been released from a 20 day hospital stay I found myself unable to pay my rent. Staff were so kind and supportive and not only helped me with my financial emergency, they provided me with plenty of other resources available in the community and even a free meal on them! Thank you to all the staff and God bless!”

“I love the piece we purchased from Laurel several years ago, I can't remember the name but it is 2 Labs doing a swing dance. It is fabulous and makes us smile every time we look at it!”

“Awesome experience. Great hiking trails right on the property. The house is very spacious and has a warm and welcome home feel the min you walk in. A group of 9 of us went and it will forever be one of the greatest trips we ever had. Can't wait to go back. ”

“After hiking the first segment of the Colorado Trail, my husband and I decided to stop at this location on our way back to the Denver area. And we certainly regretted not coming here sooner! The gentleman managing the store was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the "meal of the day" (pulled pork with baked beans and coleslaw) was fantastic. The items served were all clearly homemade, and a wonderful treat after a rather long hike. We can hardly wait until our wanderlust brings us back onto this road to be able to enjoy what they have to serve up that day!”

“Camp Colorado is a great place to meet new friends. You make friends that you become very close to. It is a beautiful place to spend the summer.”

“An alternative start to the Colorado Trail, Indian Creek Trailhead is a great hiking spot in proximity to the front range. Be mindful of the fee for the area, its $6 and you pay with cash at a self-pay station. No credit cards accepted. After about 1 mile of easy hiking you encounter trail junctions where you have options. Going straight will take you to Lenny's Rest in about 5 miles, which is the junction with the Colorado Trail. Left will take you to some small campsites and right will give you 3 trail options, one of which leads back to the trailhead and the other 2 offer 5 and 11 mile loops. Overall a great place to get to early in the day without having to get up early and drive. Plus, the trails are long enough that you can spend a whole day hiking. Plus, Fido(s) are welcome on this trail, which is a must if you are planning to meet up with the Colorado Trail. I can't say much about camping there - I never have and don't plan to. There is toilet vaults and water refill stations at the trailhead so there are accommodations for longer stays.”

“It is definitely fun. Just wish we did not have so much free time. Make actives groups must go to throughout the day so everyone can stay busy and can be truly tired by the time they hit the hay.”

“When we built our wine bar, our General Contractor selected all the subcontractors. We were onsite a lot and did some of the finish work ourselves, so we had a lot of interaction with the various trades. Of all the trades that worked on our project, Held Electric was hands-down the best. Very knowledgeable, very friendly, very responsive, very professional. We've now been open a little over a year and a breaker went bad. It's a style that's not carried by Home Depot, Lowes, etc, so I called Held and the owner personally delivered a replacement breaker. I cannot recommend Dave Held and his team (especially Colin) highly enough.”
