“I had hernia repair with surgical mesh by Dr. Barnes in July of 2016. This was my first surgery and the staff and experience were nothing but professional and comforting. I was scheduled for surgery earlier than expected due to a cancellation. Dr. Barnes and the anesthesiologist explained everything to me in advance and in great detail. There were no complications during or after the procedure. Once I was unsure if my stitches were coming loose so I called into the office. The nurse told me that Dr. Barnes had just walked into the office and passed the phone directly to him. He had me text him a picture of the incision site and immediately replied that everything looked just fine. How often do you get that kind of personal care from a doctor? I obviously did get scheduled in for a followup to check on my recovery but I knew there was no immediate concern. I would certainly recommend Dr. Barnes based on my experience with him, his staff and surgery center.”

“Had routine colonoscopy and a tumor was discovered in my ascending colon to large to be removed during this procedure. Surgery was scheduled for a few weeks later. Surgery was at Parker Adventist Hospital and went in my opinion quite well. Like anytime after surgery there was a time that I felt pretty rough, but was given med's to handle the pain and discomfort. They had me up and walking a few hours after surgery which really helped me recover. Continued to walk even after leaving hospital. Dr. Sun and his staff were amazing in making sure I was doing ok.”
