I served 15 years in the Air Force in another 15 years in the Army and I and I will say that this is the best fitness and I have ever been to out of 11 countries I have been stationed. It is a world-class facility. You will find all of the circuit equipment, free weights, and standard gym equipment you are used to. But you will also find dedicated rooms for stationary bicycle, TRX, yoga training and stretching, a full-size indoor basketball court, a full indoor swimming facility and family fun center. You will also find special amenities for physical and aquatic therapy as well as rehabilitation services.
I'm a fan of the majority of Ivy. I frequently use the climbing wall (If you're active duty, simply sign up for the balay class on Monday and you're set to use the equipment for free every time. They just reset the routes, which is nice.)
The weights area is relatively small in regards to how much use it gets; using the gym in the off-hours will allow you to use most of the equipment without waiting, but it's often hit or miss.
The basketball court seems to be off level in spots, I'm not a bit fan of it.
The others areas of the gym, including the gym are in decent condition, but there isn't anything overwhelming about them.
Nice
