“Beautiful area overlooking Golden, CO and the entire front range. From the top you can see all the way to downtown Denver. Great spot to take beautiful pictures of both the sunrise and sunsets. Beware of the park rangers, they can be a little rude and make up rules. They say you can't fly drones here, which isn't true. This is a public space that is unpopulated.”

“We stayed in two different RV parks while in Golden and Clear Creek was far and away the best! Incredible location, friendly staff and clean (albeit simple) bathrooms. There is a wonderful walking path all along the creek. You feel far away even though you’re right downtown. We will definitely return!”

“When I visited CO last summer, I went here and fell in love with the view/the Lariat Loop area in general. But this was one of my favorites! I took my best friends there a few weeks ago and now they're in love too. This location makes it easy to find yourself a nice place to sit and just admire the world.”

“When we chose Crystal Rose for our wedding venue we did not know what to expect, but we absolutely made the best choice! They were very organized, friendly and determined to make our wedding the best day of our lives. Even when the weather reared its ugly head and it snowed on our wedding Bob, Dudley and the rest of the wonderful staff here helped not only assure us that everything was going to be okay, but made everything better than we could have ever hoped for. I would highly recommend this place as not only is the scenery stunning but the friendliness professionalism and care the staff have for your special day is equally stunning as well! Thank you Bob and everyone for the most memorable special day of our lives!”

“Oh man, this place is absolutely awesome. The two times I have been there, there were plenty of people but it wasn’t overrun with tourists taking selfies. Buffalo Bill’s story is incredible and this museum has an abundant inventory of authentic historic memorabilia from his life. The museum does a great job of telling the story of his life’s passages. Be sure to see the movie loop. There is actual film showing him and other performers in the show. Also, be sure to try some of the fresh home-made fudge!”

“We really enjoyed this park. This was one of our first stops once we got to Denver after Red Rocks and Golden. This was a nice preliminary elevation as we are not used to the heights. We drove up the back of the mountain which was a pretty easy drive. We stopped at by the Lookout Mountain Park and the Buffalo Bill Tomb. Both of the parks were well kept and had excellent views. After we left, we went down the front (east side) of the mountain, and that road has a number of sharp turns, pedestrians/bikers, and amazing views.”

“Beautiful area and nice views from Lookout mountain. The museum itself has lots of original artifacts from the time period and his traveling show. I went on this as part of a larger tour and it was fine. However, unless you are a huge Buffalo Bill fan or driving close by I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it. I spent an hour there and it could be done in 30 minutes.”

“To be honest we had gone on a tour of the Coors Brewery, The shuttle driver told us to take a ride up look out mountain. That Buffalo Bill's Grave and museum was there was a plus. We had a good time the museum was in good repair and all the help was polite and informative”
