“Arrived on Friday afternoon in site 52 right on the river. We were greeted by a herd of elk in the river!! Beautiful site, close to town and RMNP. Friendly, clean but tight site. Lots of grass for doggies. Pricey. Did not use the showers as there was little privacy. On Saturday they had a breakfast for a donation and it was very good. Would love to go back another time.”

“We had a wonderful 3 day stay. There were 3 adults and one child. We stayed in the School Marm Cottage RR3. The queen Futon was a little uncomfortable and kept having to be flipped and fluffed before each night of sleep, but other than that, the bed in the room was wonderfully comfortable. Our cabin was completely stocked right down to ice in the freezer. The sheets, pillows and blankets were fresh and soft. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked. The gas grill worked beautifully and our cabin was very cozy and warm. We also opened the windows on the warmer day with the fresh crisp air. We had fans for each room for some of us that enjoy that. We had a wonderful mini vacation, the staff was wonderful and friendly , the cabin was spotless and we will be back for many more mini-vacations in Estes and stay with Triple R. Thank you Triple R!”

“I wish I could remember the name of the new manager. He did mimosas in the lobby the last time we were there! We love this property. Even though it's an older property, it's well kept. We love it here. It's very peaceful, our favorite getaway. Love that it's right on the river. A note from my last winter visit - in the winter, if you want to warm up with a bath, don't count on it. The water barely covered my toes when the hot water ran out, leaving me shivering. Maybe the hot water heater in that unit has outlived its usefulness? Close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. Go explore and earn some Trail Tags! (You can buy them for $1 at Brownfields.)”

“Awesome food. Great view. Easy to visit. Owner was very hands on and we loved everything about our experience. Salad did not get out when it should have so desert was on the house. We had filet, salmon and trout. Every plate was delicious. Colorado peach cobbler to die for. We will be back.”

“I've only been here to eat at the restaurant in the evening. The menu changes seasonally, but I go for the Trout. The pizza is good too! Love the views. Great historic place to bring visitors from out of town. The prices for rooms seems pretty reasonable also. Close to a couple craft breweries too! Nice pool area as well!”

“Great place to spend time. Just relax or go fishing right across the street. Take a morning walk to the donut shop, or just relax in the homey atmosphere. Also the wildlife is all around we have seen a bear, deer, and elk all within yards of the cabin.”
