    I would've given this five stars until I learned "The Shining" movie wasn't actually filmed here. I am from Colorado Springs so whatever. But many tourists come here believing the false advertisement which I consider a scam. The gift shop prices are outrageous!! ???? The Stanley is definitely haunted and I wouldn't mind spending a night or two.

    This place was AWESOME! Its $10 to park and you get a cool Stanley Coin with your receipt which I loved. The tours were sold out but that was okay. We enjoyed walking around and I took a ton of photos. Next time we will stay there. We were in Grand Lake - 19 miles away. But with the roads closed we had to drive 3 hours. And we decided that we just couldn’t miss this place so we did it. Stopped in Boulder and other places on the way. It was a beautiful drive too.
