Yin Academy Tutoring

The Yin Academy is a great resource for students looking to master and get a deeper understanding of the subjects that they are learning in school. I have been working with the Yin Academy since my first year of high school.
I worked with Dr. Yin and several of the Academy's tutors 1:1 in math, science, and writing over the last four years. Dr. Yin and the other instructors at the Academy were able to make difficult subjects like AP Physics and Calc BC more accessible and helped encourage me to explore interests going beyond what was taught in the classroom. I appreciated the individualized focus on the areas where more work was needed and the emphasis on the fundamentals.
The Academy provided much needed support beyond what was available in school and gave me the tools and confidence to tackle college in the fall.

For SAT review, my son, David Ma, wanted to do by himself, but the result for prep test was not very good. I sent him to Flushing SAT classes. He always makes complaint and was not happy. I asked to try Yin Academy. At very first day, he liked it. Also, my son is an athletic student with irregular schedule. Yin Academy can adjust their schedule to accommodate with David's needs. I felt grateful about it. Every kid has strong and weakness strength, Yin Academy can apply right strategy to focus on weakness part, including doing more exercises and after class tutoring.

Dr. Yin is one of the most helpful and competent people I have ever met. I had the pleasure of being tutored by him for five years, and he has tutored my three younger sisters. He demonstrates mastery over all math/physics subjects through college-level courses. Dr. Yin is also extremely patient and is willing to work overtime with students until they are comfortable with the material. I could not give a higher recommendation!
