(January 16, 2017, 1:46 pm)We've been using Associated for just over 2 years now and I don't have a single complaint.
A couple other things that I really like about them:
- They're reasonably priced and they offer a credit if you don't need/cancel your weekly pick up (this makes them even more affordable).
- The man that typically answers the phone when you call the company is super friendly and always a pleasure to speak with. :)
- On that note - even their drivers are friendly!
- They're reliable (unlike our recycling guy). We live on a hill in a somewhat remote neighborhood which I think leads to us being forgotten about by others (like the recycling guy, the ice cream man, etc). Unless there is a blizzard outside, Associated always makes its pick up... unlike our recycling guy who wouldn't venture up our hill the entire winter last year.
- They make their schedule known. What I mean by this is if there is a change to their pick up schedule, they send out emails (like if there is a blizzard or holiday that will postpone pick ups).
- They offer cardboard pick up services as well. This was a big help when we first moved into our home and had mountains of boxes that we didn't know what to do with.
