“The place is great and really clean. I never had a single problem while I spent 6 days in there. The pool is nice and the kids loved it. Really quite at every moment even though the highway is close to it. You have places like SawGrass Mill at 10 minutes driving. I'd definitely come back and spend more days in there!”

“I would have been very happy if they have provided complimentary breakfast. Their building is old, but I should mention that they did a good job in maintaining the room, their cleaning service etc. It's so convenient and accessible from highway. They have there own restaurant with breakfast menu as same as waffle House. I would recommend this place if you're in need for a comfortable and decent accommodation.”

“Renee at the front desk is extremely helpful and accommodating. Willing to listen to guest and provide the best options to fit the needs of a customer. An actual joy to work with. Best hotel worker I personally have ever had the pleasure to work with. The hotel itself is very nice and most of the staff are very friendly. I did have my dog with me so it was an absolute joy for me that a hotel of this quality and location would even be willing to accommodate me. My room was clean and set up nicely for a weekend stay. This is my 2nd stay here and both rooms were very adequately appointed and I had the pleasure of working with Renee on both occasions.”

“Very nice unit, great location. We rented this condo for our wedding. We got married on the beach, which was only about 50 yards away. It has a really nice pool, and hot tub. The appliances and furnishings in the apartment where really nice. We had a comfortable time the whole time, although they only gave us towels for two people. while we were there the air conditioning stopped working. They fixed it in less than a day. I would not mind renting from these people again. They seem to know what they're doing.”

“Just got back from here and it was a very nice stay! Vivianne at the front desk was very accommodating and so nice! This is definitely an old motel that needs some work, but small things like new window screens and updated bathrooms, it seems like they might gradually be renovating rooms. Also, the price was very fair and made up for the little things. The furnishings were newer and the wood flooring looked very new. It was spacious with a livingroom, full kitchen and bedroom w plenty of closet space and an ironing board. There are also tables outside each room to sit at and a nice pool. It seemed like most of the motel was occupied by "snowbirds" staying for a month to a few months, and it seemed like they stay there every year and knew each other and were all very nice. Housekeeping was also very friendly, though I think you might need to request it if you want daily room service. They did ask us if we needed anything and we said no. I would describe this as a "beach bungalow" and it has a fantastic location in the center of Lauderdale by the sea, steps from the beach. Overall very happy with our stay and would return! Also it appears to be dog friendly!”

“I hate to give this little gem on the ocean 5 stars because I'd love to keep it my own little secret. But it is simply wonderful!! This family-owned paradise treats every guest and every employee like family. You can feel the love between the staff and the owners, it's a mutual respect. The ocean views are spectacular. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I slept great every night. The bathrooms are top-notch. The lobby and dining room have a perfect coastal touch. The pool is wonderful but honestly i spent the whole time on the ocean which is simply a feet away from the pool. This is my new go-to in Lauderdale by the Sea. Oh!! And the best part-THE RATES!! Unbeatable prices and it's less than 5 minutes to all the action. 5 stars and 5 ❤❤❤❤❤”

“I have been to the Windjammer four or five times over the past 15 years. It's a great balance between nice and affordable. The rooms are comfortable and have all the proper amenities without going beyond necessity and into the extravagance stage. It's really all about the ocean and community and this resort is right there. They really seem fully understand that guests want to be out on the beach, eating at the local restaurants, or relaxing in and around the pool. The property is clean and well taken care of and particular attention is paid to the outdoor areas, which are really nice. It's not a large property, which is all the better for my style — quiet, relaxed, and splashes of fun (literally and figuratively). We'll keep coming back. I guess that's the true test of a resort, right?”
