“An oasis at the sea! We had the most wonderful experience at the Seahorse Motel for ten days. The owners were so pleasant and accommodating! I had some neck troubles and they went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible! Super-clean room, clean, comfortable bed and everything we needed to cook and prepare food. We stayed in room 3, which was really well-equipped with a kitchenette. Not only did we have what we needed, but the room was so pretty too. The woman in charge of preparing the room, cleaning and providing linens was so pleasant and lovely with her smiling face! The beach is such a quick walk, maybe 3 mins and the owners let us take chairs with us! The pool area is so private with lush vegetation, I found myself spending more time there than at the beach. Also, our flight got canceled back to Buffalo and the owners found us another nice room nearby, as they were booked. You can't ask for more! The Seahorse was home away from home, thank you! We will definitely stay here again!”

“I had a great time here. I agree with the reviews that call the resort quaint and relaxed. It has a good location, right on the beach. It has three really nice pools. The hot tub I used most has fantastically strong jets. The linen, towels, and kitchen utensils, etc., are all in good order. A few minor quibbles: it took a long time for the hot water to flow (but once you know how to do it — which we were taught to do by a very friendly and helpful member of the staff — it's just fine), and the mattress on the pullout couch had seen better days (though it's likely that it just isn't used that much!). But the staff was fantastic — very helpful and always trying really hard to make sure we were happy. I would definitely recommend this resort! ????”

“Stayed here August 2017 for about 1 week. Our suite was newly renovated.. Valet parking $10-20/day or you can park somewhere around hotel. It came with a washer and dryer in the bathroom area and kitchenette. The bed was the most comfortable. Complimentary Breakfast included waffle station, bagels scrambled eggs yogurt oatmeal canadian bacon sausage, biscuits and gravy cereal on different days. The pool was big, clean, and beautiful with illumonation at night. Not a fan of the private beach. Too much seaweed. The only problem is that the morning we were leaving, couldn't locate valet for about 30 min neither could management and we had to drop of the rental before boarding. Could have missed our flight. I would definitely recommend here.”

“Our balcony faces the ocean and I haven't closed the sliding doors yet. The breeze off the ocean is amazing. The people here are amazed I'm in shorts and a tank but its 70°F in January and that's toasty. (Coming from a Minnesotan). The hot tub hits the spot too. The blood moon was clear for us and we plan on BBQ chicken on the grills tomorrow.”

The lighthouse is maintained by us it's no longer maintained by the Coast Guard. We have one fundraiser a year. “I stay here primarily because I visit the casino up the street at night. I usually have enough towels, the toilet paper and tissues are always stocked, and it's typically clean with the exception of gum being on the carpet for one visit and the sheets having a few strands of hair on another. The people at the front desk are very nice and always greet me when checking in. The rates are cheap which is even better. What confuses me is their no-smoking policy. While I never took up the habit, I don't understand smokers not being able to use the balcony. What kind of damage can be done if you step outside and light one up? Other than that, I don't like adjoining rooms, but you can easily request one that isn't connected depending on availability.”
