“I have stayed in both the Hilton El Conquistador as well as the West La Paloma. While both have a great service, here are a couple of things that make me choose the Westin over the Hilton. The Westin has free cooled bottles of water in the refrigerator, while the Hilton has the free bottle of water, but they are at room temperature. In Tucson, having precooled water ready to drink is a big plus for me. Second, the rooms in the Westin have better lighting and do not feel dark, which is the case in the Hilton. The restaurant at the Westin is ok for a hotel, but the pool is a real plus. They have a large pool for all guests, a small adult only as well as a mineral pool. The mineral pool is fairly cold, so don’t jump in, but it feels nice after a long, hot day of hiking and relaxing your legs. Now if you are a Marriott member, you will receive more points at the Westin, compared to a Hilton membership, but this only makes a difference if you travel frequently.”

“I do like this park! Pretty big disc golf course. The only thing I will say is that a lot of the holes border the walkway and you have to be careful of pedestrians walking by. Makes for a challenge, sure, but I would like it if I did not have wait for tons of people to walk by to throw my disc. Otherwise a really fun place to go! I recommend it!??”

“This cake shop is amazing! The cakes here are so good we hired them to provide 3 cakes for my daughter's wedding in Savannah, Ga. The ladies probably thought we were insane when we asked them to do it. They probably assumed we would change our minds but no. Of course we had to pay more because they had to use a refrigerated truck, deliver them from Jacksonville to Savannah and assemble it but it was worth every penny and prayer that went into it. I can not say enough about this shop, staff or their cakes except that they are the best and their cakes are too delicious.”

“Land Rover of Jacksonville could be the best auto store we have patronized – and we have purchased 36 vehicles including this gorgeous Range Rover Velar we are now driving. Accordingly, when we decided to trade in the Sport, of course we were going to give them the chance to show us if their excellent business practices extended to the Sales Department. It may have been the dealership, or it may have been John O’Brian, the Sales and Leasing Consultant that worked incredibly hard non-stop to find us the right vehicle, but the entire sales experience was the best we have had in recent memory. We would also like to acknowledge an excellent job by Bill Bingham in Sales and Finance in closing out the paperwork. Accordingly, we Highly Recommend you ask for John O’Brian at Jaguar Land Rover Jacksonville for either a Land Rover vehicle or a Jaguar (we were able to test drive multiple models of both brands) and he will find you the vehicle you want too.”
