Naara Dominican Hair Studio (Dominican Salon)

Y’all I came into the salon with my scarf on. I had not touched my hair in 3 weeks. I’m pregnant and sick all the time so my energy has been at an all time low. As soon as I walked in for my appt, one of the ladies called me to the hair wash station with the biggest smile on her face. Literally no judgement and she didn’t even flinch when she took my scarf off 😂 I asked her “are you ready?? I’m so sorry in advance” and she was like “please, no worries. We’ll take care of you and make you more beautiful than you already are” ♥️ they won me over. One of the other ladies took her time to detangle my hair under the water, they gave me a deep condition and got me together real good. My husband got a completely new wife when I went home, he was so pleasantly surprised. I didn’t cut my ends but I’ll be back to do that for my next visit. These ladies were pleasant and wonderful. I told my mom I felt like I was at my Dominican aunties with her friends.
The only thing is as soon as I stepped outside my hair did frizz up rather quickly.
I searched YouTube and there are ways to avoid frizz after blowouts. I’m not sure if they have the stuff to avoid frizz but I will ask next time.

I have 4c curly hair and just gave birth to a beautiful little girl so I only had time for a wash. Triple A booked me an appointment on a Sunday right away, very kind customer service and the most incredible and efficient and fast hair wash. Sara was the BEST. Thank you so much for making a new mom feel so well cared for and welcomed! Hasta pronto!

First time there and Maria Isabel attended me right away. She has great customer care. Loved the results, will definitely be going again.

This is my second time getting my hair done there. Louisa did my hair this time. She took her time. I got nervous when the scissors came out. I usually don’t like layers or even more than just a 1-2 inch trim, But I’m guessing my hair really needed it! My hair looks healthier and silkier now.
