“This is a small Memorial Garden in the courtyard of the Good Shepherd Day School. It is administered by the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and is the repository of many of the church members over the years. It is lovingly maintained and has recently been beautified. There is a fountain in the center of the memorial garden and concrete benches around it, making it a wonderful place for meditation.”

“Beautiful park with many trails! Perfect for biking, skating, hiking with a stroller or simply taking a walk. Not the best option if you want to sit down and have a picnic or whatnot. Connected to Flatwoods park.”
Address: 18000 Lizards Tail Rd, Tampa, FL 33647, USA
“This is a hidden gem in the Tampa Palms area for hiking and running. This is a good alternative to Flatwoods. Be prepared to get muddy as the back end of the trails are rough and aren't clearly marked. You can easily get 4-5 miles out of this trail. Parking is sparse and is 1/4 mile from the entrance. The trails are very light traffic and can go without seeing anyone on them. Go check this out if you haven't been.”

“There are trails for biking and my walking. The bridge to the observation deck was closed. Should be a map to identify clearly the available trails.”

“Quite a large park with a boat house and a few hiking trails and a playground, also covered picnic shelters. I think the shelters have been closed lately but may have opened since I last went. I believe there is also some sort of tower you can go up to look around the park and lake from above as well as wooden raised boardwalk to look for wildlife over the water. You can easily spend your entire day here but there is a fee to enter with options to pay for one day or the whole year. It can definitely get crowded on nice days. Be sure to pack a snack with you.”

“I popped a tire on my way home and thought I was going to have to buy a completely new set (I’ve gone to other tire shops that told me they can’t legally sell me less than two tires at a time). This place was able to get me in sooner than scheduled, assessed my situation, and didn’t have me paying for things that I didn’t need. I got one new tire, and they placed it where it wouldn’t mess with my cars alignment. I was it in and out in less than 45 minutes”

“This is a nice little gem! I picked up some lunch for me and my son, and stopped here for a picnic and it was great. Surprisingly a lot of space, very clean, a community library box, and butterfly garden. Plenty of shade! Water fountain, restrooms, and a full court basketball court put it over the top. There are also grills and open yard to use as well. Street parking and parking lot are more than accommodating. Give it a chance with the little ones, or go and throw a few shots up.”

“Its a really good park. Has all the essentials, giant field, basketball court, baseball field, park for the kids, a bathroom that stays open, and a very well lit park even at the nights darkest.”

“This is a nice trail. It is easily accessible, and there are portions where you really get into nature. Overall, the trail butts up against populated areas. So if you are looking for a complete getaway, you won't find it. Easy parking available.”

The woman who was helping me was very kind and helpful and went above and beyond to give me the best experience. They had a great selection of plants and pottery and the prices were some of the best I've seen. I would highly recommend shopping here!”
