“Quite a large park with a boat house and a few hiking trails and a playground, also covered picnic shelters. I think the shelters have been closed lately but may have opened since I last went. I believe there is also some sort of tower you can go up to look around the park and lake from above as well as wooden raised boardwalk to look for wildlife over the water. You can easily spend your entire day here but there is a fee to enter with options to pay for one day or the whole year. It can definitely get crowded on nice days. Be sure to pack a snack with you.”

“This is a great place to find bargains on clothes and other items. My mother and I went here and she was able to find a shirt and luggage bag for very low prices and in excellent condition. They have a lot of women's clothes, some kids clothes, and not very many men's clothes. They also have some furniture, electronics, household items, home decor, mirrors, sweepers, radios, jewelry, and other miscellaneous items. The volunteers working here are funny and cheerful fellas to talk too and are helpful and make you smile. They are open very short hours per week, so plan ahead when coming here. There is extra parking in the grass if needed. Bring cash when you come.”
