The Rod and Reel Resort

Easy breezy check in all key coded so have to make sure you have codes. Our coded didn't work had to call office. Ty was great we ended up having different code apologized for problem. Our room was cute 2 double beds bathroom shower, small kitchen area only thing I missed we had brought couple frozen thing to grill but only fridge NO freezer in it. Leaving our room the pool was straight ahead, take a little corner and you were at ocean. I enjoyed making coffee early am took outside to sit on patio watch fisherman wander on pier early am fishing, BTW have restaurant at the end with pretty good breakfast and evening meals. One big problem we had was to evacuate because of Ian hurricane so our Vaca was cut short. But couple days we had was relaxing and enjoyable

Fun landmark on the island. Always interesting to watch the fishermen. Rustic restaurant available on pier. Parking in lot outside is presently restricted to those planning to dine.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this beautiful resort the place is a paradise so quite and clean and you have your own privacy they only have 8 suite it’s right across the pier which have a restaurant so convenient my kids love to fish so this place is perfect not to mention there service I left my phone at the resort Suzette the owner made sure I got it back Ty there property manager shipped it to me with no charge! Superior customer service! Thank you so much guys I really appreciate it I definitely recommend this place looking forward to come back again.

Just spent Xmas week here & had wonderful time! Perfect location on beautiful beach. Includes paddle boards, kayaks, (very) heated pool, modern room and attentive service. Can’t wait to go back!
