“Great place to bike or walk and view wildlife. Saw a lovely tortoise and some cool birds while passing through this preserve to Robinson. Great gravel trails that are nicely maintained and flat. Some parts of the preserves trails and the main lookout spot are not shaded, so bring water and keep that in mind.”

I had such great luck with the first one that my husband insisted he buy me two more so I could cut down on my individual pots and here in the Florida sun not worry so much when we are away! We live in a condo and these are on my balcony growing tomatoes, peppers, basil, mint and parsley. So far - several months since the first one - and one month since the 2 additional - having great success. Every time I have had a question - even gardening question, I pick up the phone and call the number on the unit and get great advice - first call. Excellent customer support. “We had the pleasure of spending entire month of March and we did not regret it. There were activities everyday and rode our bikes to the island at least three times a week. “Nice area!! There are plenty of nice little shops, bars and restaurants around to grab something to go and then head to the pier!! We got some ice cream at Two Scoops abd took a stroll onto the pier. There was some life music going on. Very chilled atmosphere. We even got to see dolphins. Come here in the evening, get a cocktail and enjoy your time!”

“There is so much more to this memorial than others we've been to. There is a very in depth video, nature walk through the terrain Desoto would have encountered, knowledgeable period reenactors sharing their knowledge of equipment, war tools and so much more, and a beautiful area to explore right on the shore. So worth the time and the cost which was FREE. It is a national park and maintained as such. Highly recommend to anyone who does not have much knowledge of this period of time in our early history of settlement.”

“This preserve is on a back road sort of between subdivisions. There are no signs pointing the way, just a small sign out front. This preserve was somewhat overgrown but several paths were moved and volunteers were working on cleaning up the day I was there. Well marked trails. Some be chest were sagging and overgrown, so a good cleaning and clearing will help. I endorse the 'natural' scape but being able to walk and see is good too. I felt safe and the place was peaceful. Several ponds. Oaks, pines, cypress, palms and cedars. This is a jewel squished between subdivisions and lonely roads. Highly recommended. Also has handicapped access but no restrooms or water/food.”

“Beautiful place and love the atmosphere. I would suggest not going during Florida’s rainy season. Most of the sites were flooded and swampy. We had a concrete pad, but only the premium sites had this. Also lots of noise from the race track on 64 throughout most of Saturday night. I would suggest you come in the winter and not come when the race track is open.”

Edie, the property manager, was beyond helpful and friendly. The facilities were well kept and extremely clean. My wife and I agreed that the bathhouse was always spotless...and that says a lot. We both love to fish, so the fish cleaning station was an added bonus! We were actually saddened to leave, and wanted everyone to know how much we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon! Bravo, Buttonwood!”

“Broomfield community park is a great place to take your little ones, its a safe wide open park where you can see the Broomfield police department across the street. It has a path that leads you through several green belts and each green belt has 2 to 3 parks. There are even ponds along the way too. A resident for over 20 years in Broomfield the parks were apart of my childhood and now apart of my kids childhood. If your passing through I hope you stop in and enjoy the peaceful elegance that Broomfield has to offer.”
