This is quite a lively place early in the morning as scores of cyclists, canoes and paddle boarders descend on this spectacular place to enjoy nature. We spent about a hour and half enjoying the beautiful sunrise in perfect weather. A light breeze and calm waters made the morning a perfect way to start our Saturday morning in Miami.

(October 12, 2018, 10:53 am)1.1 mile trail loop. Very pretty shaded tree lined walk, with nature chart at the start to point out plants along the trail. Soft sandy trail at parts, and along the ocean beach. Public restrooms right by the trail start and a lovely beach with many picnic tables and metal barbeques as well as covered picnic tables and swimming beach. Parking is limited, but there is much more parking outside of the beach gates if the beachside parking is full.
