(June 23, 2019, 6:19 pm)Eamonn at Doyle Sails, Miami is above and beyond the most professional marine professional I've worked with in South Florida. He helped me with a new mainsail and stackpack, 135% genoa, bimini and dodger. He had very professional and informed recommendations, such as cutting down my old genoa to a 100% jib (for a very reasonable price) and using it as a backup or heavy wind jib. As a sailor himself, Eamonn made some specific recommendations on the dodger and bimini that non-sailors would have been clueless to. His attention to detail and responsiveness was impressive every step of the way. I consider myself a pretty demanding customer, and he exceeded all expectations. (August 6, 2009, 11:02 am)I killed the main on my Cal 27 offshore and needed another one to keep on going, had been putting off replacing it for too long anyway. Eamon listened carefully to what I knew and ought to know and built a very handsome, extremely sturdy sail that will survive the chaos of my singlehandling throughout the Caribbean. I was waiting for weather to cross the Gulf Stream and he had the thing whipped out in a week, a day earlier than he projected, at a competitive price, tactfully disabusing me of much of my ignorance about modern sails in the process. I crossed over from Key Biscayne to Gun Cay on an East wind 10-15, then did pretty much the same thing over the Banks and the thing is performing marvelously.
Good deal and a great sail!
