“I love Town and Country animal hospital 💖 I've been taking my cats there for many, many years even when I lived in another county. I'm grateful to Dr. Shaffer for recently diagnosing my older cats with thyroid disease. Both cats had lost alot of weight & were throwing up daily. I was very sad thinking they were terminally ill. After the diagnosis, Dr. Shaffer put both elderly cats on thyroid meds. They've gained weight, stopped throwing up & behave like youngsters. Quarterly bloodwork is done at Town & Country to check their thyroid levels & see if the dosage needs adjustment. Also, thanks to Kris (office manager) for her kindness when I was very distraught thinking my cats were terminally ill. No matter how far I may live I will always take my babies to Town and Country 🙂”

Some of my personal favorites are the tamales, the combination #3 as it comes with a taste of everything in all three types of meat (and you'll have food for days) and the burrito chorreado. You can't go wrong with any of them but why not get all three?! The customer service is awesome despite the restaurant constantly being full. One thing to note: if you're getting takeout they will charge you a 15% service charge no matter what. It's well deserved and worth it but just don't want it to catch you by surprise.”

“Dr. Harris has been our vet for over 13-years. He's saved both my rabbits' lives on multiple occasions. Fair prices. Excellent communication. An absolute wealth of knowledge and information. My 11-year old bunny passed yesterday and I cannot stress how grateful I am to Dr. Harris and his team for her continued care. While she passed in Orlando (NOT under his supervision), it was a valuable lesson about advocacy and education. In the 10+ years of owning this bunny, she was never hospitalized by Dr. Harris. Broken leg, broken pelvis, gi stasis, bladder sludge - Dr. Harris was constantly teaching new information and showing us how to care for her on our own! The one time she IS hospitalized for bladder sludge (again, by a different professional in Orlando), her hip is re-fractured and she goes down. Dr. Harris and his team are absolutely worth the 10-hour round trip. This is an experienced, genuine exotic animals specialist that sets the bar high both for his staff and for you, as a pet owner. I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the entire team. And while I cannot conceive a pet to replace Lumi... As long as Dr. Harris is practicing - My future rabbits will be his patients. “The Pet Emergency Room helped us during an unfortunate situation with our five-year-old rescue cat, Benjamin. He apparently had a clot reach his heart, immobilizing his back legs. This all happened at 1:30 in the morning. The staff and veterinarian were so kind and even though we had to put our dear Benjamin to sleep, the Pet Emergency Room folks were there for us. My husband and I were able to hold our dear cat and they alleviated his considerable pain while we said our goodbyes. It was heart-wrenching, but at least the vet and vet tech were as empathic as they could possibly be.”

“I took my dog for a dental this week. I love how the doctor called me to let me know what she found while performing the dental, what was going on and what needed to be done. Very professional and communicative. My dog is doing great after the big teeth removal she had. I found the prices to be fair and reasonable. Majority of vets I’ve seen before for dentals have done things that I don’t believe are necessary to do and charged me an arm and a leg. I would recommend Miller Road Animal Clinic to pet owners. My Charlie’s case is extremely complicated and even though she could not help him, she was very empathetic and made the necessary recommendation to a veterinary surgeon and wrote a detailed letter. Her staff followed up to make sure the pharmacy called me and to ask if I needed anything else from them regarding the recommendation. I have no doubt if they could have done anything more for Charlie they would have. I would recommend others with pets that have other complicated skin issues to reach out for a consult. I feel the consult fee is reasonable, considering it’s nearly the same price as my regular vet.”
