Salt Life Food Shack

My Husband and I visited Salt Life for dinner on 01/20/22 and they certainly exceeded our expectations. Our server Zack was amazing. He knew the menu well, thoroughly answered our questions quickly, he was very friendly and a breath of fresh air. I could tell he genuinely cared about his job and wanted us to have a wonderful experience which we did. The views were beautiful and the ambiance was the epitome of breath-taking. We will definitely return and share our experience with our family and friends. This is a hidden goldmine I’d suggest if you’re in the area please take a visit there.

Salt life is one of our favorite places to have lunch, dinner or even just apps & a cocktail in Fernandina Beach. The main dining area and rooftop deck provide two great options for dining in comfort with a view. The menu is great and the employees are always top notch! We sit on the upper deck and have business meetings regularly to take in the ocean breeze and views while we plan our success! The General Manager, Marcos always makes it a point to stop by and check in when he is on site and is always a pleasure! The attention to quality and client satisfaction is always high and we recommend Salt Life to all! Cheers

Did not know this was a chain tied to the brand. Food was good. Service was relatively good. Only complaint was the dress code for girls. Their uniform is uncomfortably short and tight shorts (so tight). Basically a Hooter's-like atmosphere with a beach vibe. Great location near main beach, but I would chose a different spot if I go back to Amelia Island. Not the best spot for families.

Nicki our waitress was fantastic...she's the kind of employee who you want to have as the "face" of your establishment... Very good at managing several tables at the same time...
She was always on top of every single thing that was needed..
very knowledgeable about the menu itself.. Ingredients etc. Plus she has a bubbly, sweet personality that made our evening out with a friend even better....
We had a very delightful and delicious experience this evening for sure.. We'd come back again and again because of our server Nicki 🌴👈💜
