Benihana

I went with my family on Tuesday 04/19/22 and we had an amazing experience. We were confused with the parking but a quick call and we were directed inside. We got Juan as our chef and he was amazing. My son has a shellfish allergy and he took care of us and the other family seated with us while making sure he cooked the shellfish at the end. My family is a big saucy family and he kept an eye out for our empty ginger containers and filled it with a smile. I will definitely be coming back and asking for him specifically moving forward.

Alert! Our cook Marie from Haiti saved the day! If not for her you would get 0 stars. Don’t get the 5 stars twisted Benihana. We had poor service up until we met her. We had 7:00 reservations. We weren’t seated until 7:45. Our food didn’t start getting cooked until 8:45. 2 hour wait with reservations?!?! Marie pulled up, thanked us for being patient and prepared a remarkable meal. She did a great job accommodating a food allergy in our party and interacted well with us. The kids loved the tricks while cooking! 5 stars to Marie!!!! 0 stars to everyone else.

We had a wonderful dinner and a great chef named Carlos. Our server Vanessa took wonderful care of us and she was on top of everything are drinks and all of our service request. As always the food was excellent and they have stepped up their portions from yesteryear when you used to leave feeling a bit hungry. I highly recommend Benihana in the Hilton hotel in the Walt Disney World Village. Cross your fingers and hope that Carlos is your chef he's very personable and does a great job cooking your meal. We walked in early at about 5 p.m. and we're seated within 10 minutes
