  My daughter has attended this school from the day it opened! She started in Kindergarten and is now in the 6th grade at Innovation Montessori Ocoee. We love this school for countless reasons! Some of our favorites are the school's emphasis on grace and courtesy, self directed learning for the students, the schools love of nature, the friendly and knowledgeable teachers and administration and the welcoming school community of parents and students! I would never send my daughter anywhere else! We are home!

  I am so thankful my family found Innovations Montessori! My daughter started kindergarten this year and I could not be happier with our decision to come here. She is growing and learning so much and is excited to go to school everyday. The teachers and staff are incredibly warm, kind and intelligent people who really care for and love our children. I am so proud to be a part of this wonderful community!

  This school is an amazing community with the rare opportunity to experience a Montessori education in a public school. The new campus is a true reflection of their vision as well, and I’d definitely recommend you take the tour to learn more about their approach. My daughter, who is three, really loves her “big kid school,” and I love that she will have the same teachers for three years so they can develop a lasting relationship.

  A Montessori education is different. The children don't sit in their desks all day and listen to their lessons. They are given the freedom to decide what they want to learn throughout the day, often working with materials that allow them to explore concepts that interest them at their own pace.
  
  Montessori of Winter Garden Charter School is a public (no tuition) school that has been absolutely wonderful for my kids. They have been going there since Kindergarten. Our oldest started in Kindergarten when the school first opened. They have absolutely thrived.
  
  This school may not be ideal for everyone. Parents are expected to volunteer 20 hours per school year. (On the other hand, homework is kept to a minimum.) Montessori students must learn how to be self-motivated and pursue their educational interests independently. (Most children love this and learn more as a result, especially if they start doing it from an early age.) Montessori teachers must trust the Montessori method and their students and facilitate self-directed learning, actively guiding and encouraging each student as they make their own work choices. This school has amazing teachers!
