(February 12, 2019, 10:06 am)Great ride! A good time to go on it is when the weather is cool and rainy. In my experience, many animals are out cooling off on a hot day.
(February 8, 2019, 2:07 pm)Another must do at Animal Kingdom. This takes the zoo concept and turns it on its head. You get to see animals in recreated settings to match their natural habitats. An issue with this ride is that sometimes you don't see as many animals because they don't keep them super confined. Animals, like giraffes and rhinos can come within a few feet of your vehicle. Definitely use a FP+ for this attraction.
(January 7, 2019, 9:03 am)Excellent safari ride..did it 3 times. Once on fast pass and twice on stand by. It was worth is all the time. But the best time to go would be 3.00pm and later as the animals are more lively then. The first one we when was in the mid morning and all the animals were either sleeping or not in sight.
It is different every time you go...so it's worth doing it couple of times. Even time you experience a different set of animals which you didn't spot before. Of course do it on different days to maximise the experience. It is a long enough ride unlike other 60 seconds ???? rides which you waits for hours to get it so totally worth it.
(January 1, 2019, 12:41 pm)This is a great addition to an already magical place. The safari is always a highlight when we go to Animal Kingdom. The best time to go is in the early morning or right before sunset if possible. You will see more animals. The ride is in a truck driven by a cast member. You see a variety of animals, some up close. Even lions! This is a must do for us when we go.
