“We heard so many great things about this restaurant for so many years. When we went to make a reservation last minute to celebrate our anniversary, we saw an opening and we were too tempted not to go. My husband and I are not very adventurous eaters, so we wondered if we'd regret the choice later. On the contrary, we couldn't be more happy with our choice! Great atmosphere and excellent service. Server was knowledgeable and attentive. We tried some things we'd never get to try anywhere else, anytime soon, including authentic African wines. Food was incredible. Truly. We wished both of our dishes had come out hotter (they got cold quicker than we would've liked), but the flavor made that easy to forget. Not overly salty. Just full of great flavor and fantastically cooked proteins. At the end, they surprised us with an anniversary dessert. Truly magical! While it is more adventurous, don't let "African" make you think you won't like it. Take the risk!”

“I have visited different resorts probably 10 visits. Depending on what your looking for this lodge was unique and very beautiful. Loved the animals which could be seen from our room and many other windows and viewing areas throughout. Food was excellent. The pool area was very nice also. We could have just spent time around the resort. They did a good job of making you feel like you left Orlando. Staff was excellent all was very clean and just a very unique experience. Reminded me of an African themed wilderness Lodge but more unique.”

“Awesome quick service restaurant. All the meals I had were well prepared with quality ingredients. The food is prepared in a timely fashion too. The staff is very friendly. My nephew loved the chicken nuggets and said they were the best he ever had. I must admit, they were really good and have my approval too. Good bakery. Overall a great place to grab a quick meal.”

“Another must do at Animal Kingdom. This takes the zoo concept and turns it on its head. You get to see animals in recreated settings to match their natural habitats. An issue with this ride is that sometimes you don't see as many animals because they don't keep them super confined. Animals, like giraffes and rhinos can come within a few feet of your vehicle. Definitely use a FP+ for this attraction.”

“Full Disclosure: My wife and I ate hear back on 11 Dec 18, then the holidays hit full swing and well...here I am. You know, sometimes somethings are more important than reviewing placing on Yelp...imagine that... This was our lunch destination shortly after arriving at the park. Using the Disney app we made our choice to go here and then we ordered our food to be picked up once the app told us it was ready. (A little piece of advise for the uninitiated - if you are going to any Disney park, get the app. With the app you can make reservations for restaurants days in advance and for quick stop places like these you can skip the line and order on-line and pick up your food skipping the long wait). We both ordered the barbecue chicken salad - a massive offering of chicken and greens and barbecue sauce that will not leave you hungry. We even picked up a few drinks (hot drinks on a cold day) that hit the spot.) The ambiance is outdoor dining with ever present birds looking for a handout, though they were aggressive which was a good thing. Though there's ample seating it can be difficult to find a spot during the peak eating times so be aware of that. Otherwise, the service behind the counter was super friendly and agreed with me that the app is the way to go...”

“This ride is a lot of fun. It’s one of the more intense roller coasters at Disney, even though it doesn’t look like it from the outside, so maybe not for those who don’t like roller coasters. If there is a long like don’t forget the single rider line, it’s kind of hidden off to the side.”

“Can't recommend breakfast. All lunch items are fresh and good. Variety of items and service is good. You can't get thin French fries here, only thick potato steak fries are available. A bar is a short walk away if you want alcohol drinks. Pizza is on a flatbread.”
