After thinking about it, I decided to try a dent removal place. I called Dentworks Express. Someone came out and to say he was meticulous is a gross understatement. He was an artist. He spent over an hour carefully working out that dent. Part of it was on one of the ridges on the fender. He compounded out the scratches. One may well ask now, what dent? Fantastic work.
