  Fantastic school! We visited a lot of preschools before we chose this one. Even at the youngest class level, PHA is curriculum-based, not day care. We saw a lot of preschools and VPKs that were basically glorified day care keeping the kids entertained and fed, but not pushing education. At PHA, every inch of the school is covered in educational material and the kids are actively learning every day. Our son has been exposed to more material (both in amount and diversity) than we could have given him even if we stayed home to school him ourselves. And the teachers provide plenty of additional homework/excercises/activities for your child. In addition to this, the education is dynamic, not rigid across a class, let alone grade. So if your son/daughter is ahead of the material, they will continue to push them at that level, and vice versa. The teachers here work hard to get the students to understand, and they do so gently to build confidence in the kids. The teachers here genuinely care about the students. Most of them are teaching out of enjoyment; many of them don't need the job. Although education is my primary concern for a school and the deciding factor, I should also say that PHA does a fantastic job hosting all kinds of events/activities throughout the year for both students and parents. I can't recommend this school enough!

  The Parke House Academy is the best primary education school in Central Florida with it's low student-teacher ratio and academic excellence. As I have two daughters who have attended the school since PreSchool, seeing them test two to three grades higher than the standard public education year after year only confirms just how fantastic of a learning academy it is.
