“I have been seeing Dr. Landa for a year and a half. I started out with diabetes, high cholesterol, kidney disease, failing memory, thyroid problems, anemia and gastric problems. My a1c dropped from 7.2 to 6.2. Anemia is gone. Kidney problems have improved dramatically. My cholesterol is now down to 110. I actually need to raise it a little. Thyroid is working better. “I think I understand why Dr. Sherman has lots of 5 star AND 1 star reviews. He may appear beligerant to some people because he gets straight to the point and has a strong personality. He is very smart, however, and if you GIVE HIM A CHANCE and continue to see him & have communication with him, you will end up liking him very much. When I first saw him, he had some choice words to describe the pain mgmt plan my previous physician had me on, and I could have been put-off by it. Instead, I kept an open mind and I am glad I did. Dr. Sherman knows so much more than the vast majority of pain specialists out there, and his treatment plan is beginning to work for me after just a month or two. (And I have been in chronic severe pain for 20 yrs.) I feel like I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and it's not a train, for the first time in two decades.
