“WONDERFUL school. My daughter and I moved to Florida in 2016 from Puerto Rico, my daughter does NOT speak SPANISH so her adjustment honestly wasn't an issue, but she unfortunately went to another school that was NOT up to our standards, from a straight A student she barely passed 2nd grade. My daughter has some special needs that the teachers in her old school couldn't understand! I had asked for a phone meeting and at the end of the first semester, NEVER got it. THANKFULLY I moved to another school zone where Sunrise is my daughter's school and oh my goodness the difference is insanely good! My daughter's grades sky rocketed, the teacher responds to any concerns immediately and, the school? You can just feel that they truly care about the child's needs. The teacher agreed with my concerns, took them seriously despite my young age and is working with my daughter :) Amazing school! We're in the process of moving again and refuse to move out of the school zone JUST for this school!”

“this school is pretty decent to be honest it really depends on how you act and stuff the teachers are great classrooms are great. there is a lot of space and there are also good after school activities an also in school time activities there are sports you can play like basketball and gym if you like. but the thing is the lunch is where the not so good stuff comes in: poorness on the main food like cheeseburgers are like wet and stuff: the pizza are not always cooked all the way though and ETC... but in all horizon middle school is a good school to be in ;)”
