Great place for both parents and children to learn about local history.
Great hiking trails with scenic views of the lighthouse. There is a north side trail that has a sidewalk and a scenic overlook. The south side trail has different sections with water views and lots of benches and shade.
Fun place to wash the boats on the Jupiter Inlet, cool museum and so fun to climb the historical Jupiter lighthouse.
Open dawn to dusk. Free. About 30 minutes to walk from parking lot (3 cars + 1 handicap) to overlook and back. There is only one out & back path. Path is cement & boardwalk: 100% flat & level. Very well maintained. No garbage cans, water or bathroom. I observed no wildlife. Interesting flora/ cactuses.
Nice walk paths next to the water. I love to snorkel in the area by Jupiter bridge and along the shore. If you want nature it's great. Not to far to get to from lighthouse and highway. Easy walking to areas to snorkel. I find that at high tide, best time to snorkel, you see the most types of marine life and clarity. I have seen small school of squid a few times. All from snorkeling from shore.
