(July 10, 2017, 9:31 am)There are nice cross country type biking paths here. You do not need mountain bike. I ride my hybrid here that has fairly thin hybrid street / dirt tires. Street bikes will not do well though because the path is dirt and gravel. One elevated section that is really fun. Great Lake and canal views along the path. Lots of birds to see.

(January 31, 2017, 5:05 pm)I enjoyed riding my bike here for two hours. It was a complete break from the manicured parks I find elsewhere and closer to "roughing it". Beautiful. Plenty of wildlife. Large vistas from lovely observation points.
