A.L. Anderson Park

Wow! What an amazing place. Following the nature trail, you can find native Florida flora and fauna. The park is rather large with lots of areas to explore. Many shaded areas to get out of the heat. The playground is phenomenal! Shelters with a ton of seating. Family and pet friendly. There's a boat ramp here and you can go fishing. Come see for yourself how great this park is!

The scenery is gorgeous! the little picnic areas with the barbecue grills are to live for (vs. to die for) meaning you want to revisit more often due to the cleanliness and upkeep of the public facilities and the gazebos which can be reserved ahead of time... Great for company picnics which therefore boosts employee morale post pandemic (hint hint). If you are reading this go ahead and set one up at this park, you won't be disappointed. 🏞️ Don't take my word for it, see for yourself 😁

You'll see alligators, lots of bugs and turtles. The trails are well maintained so you won't have a problem walking around the park. I recommend coming on the weekdays since it's never crowded during those days.

Beautiful park on Lake Tarpon. There are lots of places to walk around. There is a nice dog park that has a place for big dogs and little dogs. It is clean and we'll maintained, including the bathroom. The park rangers are very nice and helpful. There is a nice boat ramp near the entrance.
