“Without a doubt, Dr Mona Henri is the best Optometrist in the St Petersburg area. If I could give her 10 stars & balloons, I would! Dr Henri was my Optometrist when she worked at one of those big box vision stores years ago. I loved her then & she took excellent care of me & my eyes. Besides for just glasses & contacts, I seem to remember I got a scratch on my cornea & Dr Henri took excellent care of my injury. That was a long time ago. So things happen & Dr Henri left that practice & my insurance wouldn’t pay for her where she went so I’ve been literally waiting years for her to show up on my insurance plan. Of course, in 2020, when anything can happen, Dr Henri finally showed up on my new insurance plan. Covid put off my appointment some but I finally got in to see her. And Dr Henri was just as wonderful, if not more than I remember. The office was impeccably clean & the staff was friendly. I was taken back when Dr Henri herself took me to do all the tests, not some tech. As always, Dr Henri was kind & caring, professional, knowable & most importantly thorough. Although I can see the letters, my vision is blurry and because I’m intelligent I can guess the letters by process of elimination or memorize them. Dr Henri picked up on this & was concerned as to why my vision was so blurry. So she did a few thorough exams & spot on discovered the problem & explained it to me then referred me to a specialist. Just for reference, all the other eye doctors I’ve seen have noticed this same problem but have told me “it’s no big deal” or “ it’s not that bad”. Sure, it’s not that bad for them. They’re not the ones who can’t see! So today I finally have hope that I’ll be able to read street signs again, thanks to Dr Henri.”

“I used to be a patient of Dr. Cozad's and unfortunately she stopped accepting the insurance I had at the time. I have a new plan and now I can't find a working number to reestablish her as my doctor. At the time, I never had a female GYN before, and she was the first EVER to ask what I was doing for my osteoporosis. "That's for old ladies" I reply, but sure enough I had 50% bone loss. I even ran to her in a deep fit of depression looking for her to recommend someone for that. She was so very kind and I will not forget that.
