“Nice place to park if you are going on bike trail. We are from out of town and found this parking listed on TrailLink. We rode our ebikes out of here. There was a nice crowd playing pickle ball and tennis. A good group and no thugs. So we felt safe. This city has gone above and beyond with their parks. They are a model for others.”

“Pat Wall Park in Belleair Florida is a "vest pocket" park, meaning a small neighborhood greenspace designed to offer relaxation and beauty in a small footprint. This one offers pleasant shaded areas, park benches and wonderful donated sculptural elements. Licated in beautiful Belleair, it is immaculate and well kept. Birds abound and their songs promote relaxing.”

“Beautiful spot and fun place to shell hunt, and snorkel around. The water is calm and warm. Lots of rocks so bring shoes. There's a little Cafe with food and drinks and seats with ocean views while you sit and eat. Nice changing rooms and restrooms. It was very busy on the weekend get there well before 5 to get a good spot. Costs $8 to enter the park.”

“Very nice park lots of trees and shade. It’s a neighborhood park so there isn’t any water fountains or bathrooms. The design is very unique, set us for intermediate to advanced climbers. They have a smaller playground for kids who can’t climb as well though.”

“This is a great park for the family. There are many areas to enjoy including pavilions, piers, benches, paved trails, unpaved trails, and more. We saw lots of different types of birds, fish, turtles, squirrels. There is a decent playground and several bathrooms around the park. The trails, both paved and unpaved, are stroller friendly. We will definitely come back.”

“This is the best free splash park I have done too. It is so well maintained and just so much fun. My three-year-old loves it. This is actually 30 minutes from my house but we make the drive. I also love that the playground is nice and shaded. One of my favorite parks”

“Such a nice clean beach. Parking was kind of rough but for a whole day worth not bad. Make sure you bring lots of sunscreen and water. Sand is very white and soft. Water is clear. Not much waves when we went but if a boats near or a jet ski, we got a few waves. Overall we had a blast.”

“We recently stayed here with our converted cargo trailer, and it was a great stay! The campground was clean and facilities well maintained. We don't have a restroom in our camper, so we used the bathroom and showers on site. They were cleaned daily and even had a lock code. They had daily events, but since we were busy sightseeing we didn't get to attend any. The playground was small but clean. Check in process was easy, and they helped accomodate the fact we needed to be able to walk to restrooms but also had a young child so needed further space from highway. We used a white noise machine in our camper, so the road noise didn't bother us much. Traffic is busy on road in front, but we just waited and we were able to easily pull out each time. They had a staff member guide us to our spot, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend! Was about 45 minute drive to zoo area and 30 minutes to Honeymoon Island State Park. Will definitely be back!”

“This park is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, convenient and child friendly, I have 3 kids (11, 4 and 1) my 4 yr old has autism and is a wonderer who often escapes, but during my visit here I felt it was much safer for him and was able to allow him more freedom due to the gates and fences that provide protection in the park.... my kids especially loved the splash pad and I enjoyed relaxing while my kids had fun. Terrific park for all ages I've been here several times and look forward to returning here. Also I don't live in Pinellas County but I travel to several parks no matter the distance if they are great parks, and this park is worth the travel.”

“Not gonna lie. I was only here because I work for the city and we had to clear the ditch that runs behind the baseball field. I didn't even know this park was here. Now that I've seen it I love it lol great space to let your kids or pets run around. Clean and nice especially if the weather is nice. Quiet nice park. Nothing too special but nice and in the nice Shore Acres neighborhood”

“Photos I saw had me thinking this was a huge sprawling park. Actually, it's a small cozy place. Lots of trees and shade, a scattering of strategically located picnic tables, a kids play area, public bathrooms and a scenic view of the marina and local businesses. I had a nice cigar after lunch. Lot's of folks eating their lunch, walking dogs, riding bikes, exercising and relaxing. If your in the area, a nice spot to chill with plenty of free parking. Nicely located near the busy business and marina area of Dunedin, where tons of local eateries and shops reside.”

“Fields and park are always well maintained. Love the softball tournaments here. Always fun, except the mother on the opposing team who has a horrible attitude and should be ashamed of herself for acting like a child in front of children. Stay classy Madeira. Well, at least most of you.”

“My son is on a swim team so I was there for swim meet this weekend. Therefore I wasn't able to enjoy all the amenities. However we are planning a weekend to spend down at North Shore Park in St Pete because the drive down was absolutely amazing there was multiple shops a bunch of stores a beach and a splash park with water slides in it. Very clean and seem very friendly. I can't wait to return and try out everything that that area has to offer.”

“Wow! What an amazing place. Following the nature trail, you can find native Florida flora and fauna. The park is rather large with lots of areas to explore. Many shaded areas to get out of the heat. The playground is phenomenal! Shelters with a ton of seating. Family and pet friendly. There's a boat ramp here and you can go fishing. Come see for yourself how great this park is!”

“Great average sized park with a big beautiful open field around it and a stream with a bridge where you can see lots of turtles. A dog was there that my kids loved playing with and someone was coaching a boy in football in the field. Great place to hang for all shapes and sizes.”

“Beautiful new playground; dog park well tended, 2 areas for larger & smaller dogs; mostly nice people. Great boardwalk & 3 story observation tower. A more natural park. Great walking paths. Update. New morning people at dog park rude and bossy. One woman with aggressive Aussie mix scream at others when her dog is the one who starts trouble. Had to stop going.”

“Maximo Park is one of the finest parks in all of Pinellas. It is extremely old and some of the trails are really starting to show their age (edit Jan 2021: they have repaved some of the trails so this has changed, I've noticed a lot of work going into the park lately with a ton of invasive species removal which has made the disc course easier and new plantings). There are lots of areas for picnicking, Biking walking sightseeing and a large boat ramp with trailer parking. And of course there is the best disc golf course in the area here, 18 holes, very difficult at times, blind throws, but well-marked and once you get the hang of the lines extremely rewarding.”

“After reading so many reviews about the long walk to reach the beach I almost passed on this gem. The walk from your car to the dog beach is less than a minute, When you pay to enter turn left (right after the green flag). Follow the signs to dog beach and park near the south pavilion. Now you are right by the bathrooms, grill, and entrance to the beach. HUGE parking lot no problem finding a spot. You and your dog will love this beach! Everything you need within a very short walk!!”

“This was a smaller park in safety harbor. It was very quiet and had a nice little pond with alligators, fish, and birds. It was very relaxing to just walk the loop of the park. There was also workout structures located around the park loop. It is easy to park here and had a very friendly environment.”
