“Have you ever seen a picture of an animal and think, "That's the one!" That's what I did when I saw the picture of a scared little cat on the Polk County Website. I put a hold on this cat and thought she'd be ready for adoption soon. Apparently she was very sick and needed a lot of treatment. Nearly two months pasted and I was amazed she was still there. They have so many other animals; healthier than she was, who also need to be adopted. I wasn't sure they had the time or resources to help her. I would call and check on her every few days. The staffed assured me they we're doing all they could. Finally the day came, I got the call to come pick her up! I was told me she had some complications and one of her eyes had to be removed. They asked if I still wanted to adopt her and of course I did! Long story short, I'm amazed and grateful for everything the shelter did for this one sick cat. She's thriving in her new home and getting along well with my other animals. Despite everything she's endured she's still a love bug; best cat anyone could ask for. Thank you Polk County Animal Services!”

“Very impressed and satisfied. I met S&W in the summer of 2018 when i was shopping around for kitchen/bath cabinet and counter top replacements. I also shopped a local competitor and Lowes & HD. Their pricing was competitive and all places had a lot to choose from, but the staff at S&W (Cindy & Tim) were more patient with me, they came over to my place three times for me, to see what i had and gave good color and design recommendations. When I pulled the trigger in October, they were able to complete everything by Thanksgiving. I even gave them a couple curve balls with appliances but they were flexible and even got a couple additional installers to help me (I am not that handy). Excellent service, communication, scheduling, and installation. I highly recommend them. I upload just a few pics of what was done (laundry room, master bath, kitchen sink and backsplash).”
