“CAREmasters provided me with assistance following a ski accident I had in February, which left me with a fractured fibula. I had elected to have the surgery done in Sarasota, as I knew there would be a fairly long recovery period and I wanted to be back home with my yellow lab. I had contacted CAREmasters before flying back from Seattle and arranged for them to assist me during my period of incapacity. They helped me enormously, always available to assist at home and also when I needed transport. “I called AND because my regular A/C guy was on vacation and the guy covering him never answered me. Corey came over the same day and immediately diagnosed and made a repair to help us get the house cooled down after 5 days of 90+ degrees. Unfortunately my system was too poorly maintained (we just purchased the home) and it needed a full replacement. Corey and his supervisor Bryan spoke with me over over an hour trying to help us the most they could and explaining every single thing I had questions about. We have 4 dogs and everyone was overheating at this point. Corey was able to get us a floor unit to keep things cool while we waited only 1 day for a full A/C replacement (incredible!). Don and Alberto arrived on Monday and replaced the whole system while I was at work. Coming home to a cool house for the first time in days was amazing beyond words. I casually mentioned to Corey that my guest bathroom tub was clogged and while Dan and Alberto were setting up our a/c Brandon (plumber) arrived to remedy that as well! Similarly, Brandon went over every single thing in depth leaving me with no questions or concerns. I know this review is huge but I still feel like I have more positive things to say if that gives you any indication of how much I appreciated their services. Sorry if I missed anyone that helped us during this difficult time! Thank you again.”

“Very private, my family stayed for 4 nights. The fold out sofa bed mattress is not very comfortable (you can feel the springs) otherwise it served our purpose perfectly. Easy access to Turtle Beach (which was a better time than siesta beach) used the dock when we rented a boat. They also had some beach gear (we bought more and left it behind for the next guest)”

“Book lovers paradise. It's not a sleek ultra modern novelty/book store with Starbucks in the corner. This is a REAL book store like Harry Potter would visit in a quaint English village. There are thousands of books and more arrive daily. Wander down the aisles and explore the "back rooms," It's almost overwhelming in a good way. The owner is extremely knowledgeable so don't hesitate to ask questions. I think she must have read every book there. Charming artwork decorates the building. And, the owner's sweet couch potato dog may even wake up to greet you . New hours: Mon - Fri 10AM - 5PM. Sat 11AM - 5PM. Closed Sunday.”

“I have cancer the chemo was giving me problems with swallowing. I was in Sarasota Memorial Hospital for five days twice in the beginning of the year. I had many test while in SMH and spoke to many GI (Gastroenterologist) Doctors.I had one test that was extremely difficult for me. I had to swallow for a half an hour. I had no saliva because I couldn’t eat or drink for hours in advance. The next day after that test a GI came to my room and told me they ordered the wrong test! She then said oh that’s okay it didn’t show anything wrong? I was shocked and couldn’t believe I had to to endure that test for absolutely nothing! I then had the real test the next day. That test along with an Nasal Endoscopy found nothing wrong. I was then scheduled while I was still in the hospital an endoscopy. That is where I met Doctor Rahal. He told me he saw some closure and since I was still going thur chemo he would wait until my next CT Scan to see what next steps will be taken. After I got home I had an appointment with Doctor Rahal and he scheduled a videofluroscopic test. That test showed that I have problems with my cricopharyngeal muscle. It doesn’t close and function like normal. The chemo was effecting it and making it harder to swallow, hard to produce salvia and choking issues.I was so relived that after being in the hospital and after all those test I finally knew what my swallowing problem is. I am so grateful for Doctor Rahal. Not only is an amazing Doctor is a very compassionate and kind person. He really listens and you can tell he cares. I highly recommend Doctor Rahal for any GI issues you may have.”

“Family Friendly Adventure! We highly recommend Captain Casey, who picked my family up from our VRBO rental and took us out for a half day on the Pontoon. He showed us all around the gulf to find dolphins, sea urchins and more seashells than my kids could pickup. He was amazing and playful with my girls (4&6), which was a relief for any parent looking for this kind of vacation adventure. The best part for my kids was when Captain Casey let them play with the fish bait on boat, a memory they will not forget and they still tell everyone how cool it was to have their own Captain.
