“Went here to get finger printed for my concealed weapons permit (CCW) back in 2012 and today, 2/28/17, went here again to go along with my father so he could get finger printed for his CCW. Both times the experience was a good one, and the people were very kind and respectful. I think the Sheriffs Dept. looks upon applying for your CCW as a responsible duty of being a respectful law abiding citizen, because the response of the people that work here is very positive when you tell them you're here for your CCW.”

“Called animal control. One of my feral cats was trapped in the engine compartment of my car. She was scared and obviously in pain. They had someone there with in 15 min. (Tony) She was great! She called a vet and 2 more officers. With in half an hour they were there. They tranquilized the cat. But her injuries were very severe to her legs. She had to be youthanized. They called the car dealership regarding how to remove belts to get cat out. I didn’t know what do. They handled the situation professionally and compassionately. They cared about the cat and myself. They even helped me bury her. I asked about payment, they stated there was no charge. WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE THESE PEOPLE IN CHARGE OF OUR ANIMAL CONTROL! Thank you so much! Molly Drumm”

“Wow, its no longer the Youth Alternatives Runaway Shelter. Just like next door at Juvenile Detention, I stayed here quite a bit back in the 80s when it was Youth Alternatives. A lot of memories, and a lot of friendships here. Don't know where they all are now, but I'd love to find someone and see what they have been doing all these years.”
