“This place is great...stayed for a soccer tournament. Soccer fields are amazing grass, literally the best I have ever seen. It is expensive but you don't have to leave the resort unless you want to. You have to pay for everything at the resort, including water and coffee, but convenience costs money, which is fair. Traffic is crazy around the resort, so trying to leave is hard. There are several great places to eat or buy supplies with in a 15 minute nice walk. I don't play golf but the many courses, including putt putt looked awesome. All the many pools are amazing and fishing is Great. Lots of wildlife around including big gators. Resort workers were all helpful and nice. They will shuttle you around in a golf cart, even to the end of the driveway. Thinking of coming back next year.”

“Really chill vacation spot. I was here a couple months ago and stayed at Tradewinds Motel. It was really convenient for me because all the shopping places were nearby. The staff were really great, the room I stayed in was really clean and the flooring was different from any other hotel I've stayed in. It was some type on laminate wood flooring, which made the room look so rich and nice, room service was really great . Overall my stay was a pleasant one.”

“My partner and I rented this property for a long weekend. The place was very clean and the location was exactly what we were looking for, being directly on the Gulf beach! When you open the blinds on the front windows all that you see is ocean, from a fourth-floor view! It was gorgeous! It is also within walking distance to a few restaurants and a brewery. Perfect spot to watch the sunsets each evening. We will definitely stay here again in the future.”

“We've been coming to Siesta Key for years, and this was a great find for us this trip. The location is perfect: 1 minute walk to Beach Access 2, and a 5 minute walk into the village. The rooms are clean and recently renovated, with everything you could need in them. By far, the best part is the owner, Brad. We planned our latest trip (sort-of) at the last minute, and when we first arrived in Siesta Key had some minor issues with our room. Throughout the whole process, Brad was patient, understanding, easy to get a hold of, and did everything he could to accommodate us and quickly fix any problems, definitely going above and beyond any expectations! I can't say enough good things about this place and it's owner! Parrot Beach Cottages is a hidden gem in the village of Siesta Key, and we will definitely be coming back!”

“We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights over Easter weekend, 2023. I don’t typically patronize ‘lower priced hotel rooms’ but my granddaughter booked and paid for the room. Thankfully, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. We didn’t use the pool but many other guest did. It was clean and well maintained. The building is older and some aspects were evident of its age. Overall, everything was super clean, bed linens were extremely nice, all laminate flooring vs carpet was a BIG plus! There was a microwave and a 2 door mini refrigerator with a nice sized freezer. No coffee maker but they offered free coffee in the lobby. The shower had the hottest water I’ve ever found in a hotel room. We both agreed that it was nicer than we expected and would go there again in the future. It was less than a block from a beach park and restaurants.”

“I believe we stayed in #4, not #2. We stayed at the piney nook cottage for our honeymoon. The location was perfect as it had direct access to the beach. It was very close to restaurants and other attractions. The only issue we had during our stay was ants, many many tiny ants crawling on the kitchen counters but I was able to rid of them on our first nights stay. We had no other problems for the entire duration. It was very quiet, very cozy. The cottage included everything we may need, though my husband was looking for a meat thermometer and couldn't find one. We will most likely return in the future.”

“This hotel is great especially for the price. Other similar places in the area were double the price. It feels like an old school family friendly motel. Beach is literally across the street. Staff is amazing and will help you with anything you need. They have beach towels and chairs, pool toys etc. great little pool with nice ambiance and good music with lots of seating and shade. The rooms are spacious and have a kitchenette with microwave as well as a big dresser and closet area. Looks like it was renovated recently and you can tell they didn’t just do a cheap face lift but actually updated it. Loved our experience.”

“I can’t say enough about this hidden gem. I have visited twice in the last three months. Once on a girls trip and another with my family of four. I don’t typically write reviews but after reading a few negative ones I felt inspired. This place is beautiful. Private pool and across from Manatee beach. Anything you could possibly need is so convenient. This beach is in my top three and I’ve traveled a lot of places. The house is clean and modern. Also has anything you may need. Bonus* rafts and beach umbrellas and all you could ever ask for in the kitchen. The owner’s are so amazing. Alan and Donna are attentive and super down to earth and made our experience special. “This place was wonderful for our family of 4 on spring break. It was very clean and someone from maintenance was always doing something on the grounds! The views are amazing. One thing that you can’t tell from photos is that these condos are HUGE. We even put a kid to sleep in the walk in closet as it’s big enough to be a room. I have myself on the waitlist for the next two years for a certain week because we enjoyed our stay so much. Location is great and the beach is beautiful. All staff we met were kind and helpful! 10/10!”

Everything was beyond our expectations...from the lovely decor, wine, closeness to historic downtown Sanford and the comfortable feel of home all to the extraordinary breakfast and history behind the house itself...we were just so pleased! Lisa is an amazing host who welcomes you with such graciousness that I would highly recommend this establishment!”
