“Excellent family resort. The grounds were well manicured and often had fountains in courtyards. There is a nice lake in the center of the resort. When we visited in the middle of summer 2018, construction of a new on the lake restaurant was being built. We would love to visit again once that is completed. It would be an amazing experience to eat at a restaurant situated in the middle of a lake. The resort was tranquil and quite when we stayed there. The pool was themed to look like a south American temple. It was spacious and clean. There was also a large hot tub. The food at the pool bar and food court was fresh and delicious. We did not eat at the main restaurant, Maya Grill. I should also mention the luxury glass inclosed shower with premium bath products, Disney's H2O line. Great counters space in the dressing area and the room was a decent size.”

“I love stopping off while paddling up and down the run. The run gets 5 stars, but the campsite less so. It is the best site along the run. Fire ring, benches, and a bear/ critter box for food and garbage storage overnight. Cons are the campsite is mostly dirt with sweet gum seed pods all over (i.e. spiny) making it difficult to find a nice place for a tent. Also, people need to learn to burry their toilet paper as a few feet into the woods in any direction is covered in used TP.”

“There are a lot of things to love about this hotel. I took off 1 star because of the condition of the elevator and stairwells. But this is a hotel I avoided staying at without ever trying it out. From the pictures I thought the rooms were too small and I got caught up in some of the negative things other reviews were saying. But the night came when it was the best deal in this area and I had no other choice but to give it a try. The rooms are cozy. I had enough room to do my yoga. Despite that they are smaller than many hotel rooms - especially kitchenettes - the layout made it highly functional. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only major improvements I would suggest is cleaning up the common areas - the laundry room, elevator, stairs - these were all dirty, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free wifi works fast enough if you don't want to pay for the upgrade.”

“An oasis at the sea! We had the most wonderful experience at the Seahorse Motel for ten days. The owners were so pleasant and accommodating! I had some neck troubles and they went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible! Super-clean room, clean, comfortable bed and everything we needed to cook and prepare food. We stayed in room 3, which was really well-equipped with a kitchenette. Not only did we have what we needed, but the room was so pretty too. The woman in charge of preparing the room, cleaning and providing linens was so pleasant and lovely with her smiling face! The beach is such a quick walk, maybe 3 mins and the owners let us take chairs with us! The pool area is so private with lush vegetation, I found myself spending more time there than at the beach. Also, our flight got canceled back to Buffalo and the owners found us another nice room nearby, as they were booked. You can't ask for more! The Seahorse was home away from home, thank you! We will definitely stay here again!”

“I had a great time here. I agree with the reviews that call the resort quaint and relaxed. It has a good location, right on the beach. It has three really nice pools. The hot tub I used most has fantastically strong jets. The linen, towels, and kitchen utensils, etc., are all in good order. A few minor quibbles: it took a long time for the hot water to flow (but once you know how to do it — which we were taught to do by a very friendly and helpful member of the staff — it's just fine), and the mattress on the pullout couch had seen better days (though it's likely that it just isn't used that much!). But the staff was fantastic — very helpful and always trying really hard to make sure we were happy. I would definitely recommend this resort! ????”

“Stayed here August 2017 for about 1 week. Our suite was newly renovated.. Valet parking $10-20/day or you can park somewhere around hotel. It came with a washer and dryer in the bathroom area and kitchenette. The bed was the most comfortable. Complimentary Breakfast included waffle station, bagels scrambled eggs yogurt oatmeal canadian bacon sausage, biscuits and gravy cereal on different days. The pool was big, clean, and beautiful with illumonation at night. Not a fan of the private beach. Too much seaweed. The only problem is that the morning we were leaving, couldn't locate valet for about 30 min neither could management and we had to drop of the rental before boarding. Could have missed our flight. I would definitely recommend here.”

“If it was only up to the office staff it would be 5 stars!!!! Donna and(so sorry I forgot her name that sits next to her) ____, are great, so nice always make you feel welcome!!! We are renting brand new double wide. Unfortunately they are just about the same size squarefoot wise. But rent is much higher, if it was just 5foot longer, I'd be so much happier paying so much more!!!! Could have walk-in closet in master with an amazing bathroom and bigger laundry room(Just doesn't make sense to me that the double wide isn't much bigger... ugh). The neighborhood better than other mobile home park I've seen! I've not seen or heard of any crime in the park! They just got a bunch more homes in the neighborhood!!! Come join our wonderful neighborhood!! Shoot use me as a reference, we can both make money!!!
