“Since I first discovered this fantastic residential area over 10 years ago I’ve gotta admit that every time I go back the charming houses & friendly atmosphere gives me more than a few good reasons to stay more than once”

“Great prices and great location. It's very affordable and has many amenities. Very standard bathroom and rooms. The beds could be a bit bigger and larger. It's a very home feeling. I would recommend for an affordable Orlando vacation. Comes with free parking.”

“Checked in tonight, GREAT FRIENDLY guest service employee. Never been treated so nicely at a resort. He even told me welcome home before we even see the place. Got inside condo and I have to say this place was so much better than I ever expected. Very clean very nice and very very roomy. We will be staying here again. So happy we found this place.”

“Clean and neat, staff most accommodating. Restfull and peaceful despite location just a few hundred feet from a main road. Well planned. Security is good with many electronic devices. This is a 4+ ???? but with a few more staff it could go to 4.5. Only concern, book through the resort, condo owner booking can have challenges in communications. Look forward to staying again.”

“What a gorgeous hotel! Very old style Florida with huge palm trees both in and out of the lobby. The pool was gorgeous but we unfortunately didn’t come on a good day as it was first too cold for swimming and then raining the next day. But the rooms were nice and spacious, clean without that weird hotel smell. They had bath and body works products in the rooms, nice touch! They were very accommodating and pretty convenient to all the parks, will come again!”

“My family of 6 stayed here recently and we certainly enjoyed our stay even though it was for 24 hours. I believe that this is one of the best deals in Orlando. The rooms are great, the staff is great and the are plenty of things to do right on the grounds of the facility. The location is very good too as it is close to many things such as shopping, nightlife, and of course the amusement parks. This is not your typical upscale hotel it is more like a timeshare. Everything you need is in the rooms except for the food and drink.”

“I think I posted on this already, but decent prices, large rooms. Only reason not 5 stars was the construction activity and a comment from a staffer that I didn't care for.”

“Beautiful Suite with Steps. If you are okay with going up and down two steps then this is a great place to stay. There are small lights by each set of steps which helped at night. There is a porch light with no switch so it stays on all night. The master bathroom has a grand shower with a curve of glass square tiles as the outside wall. There is a high opening between the shower and the main bathroom. The porch light next to the glass squares and the high opening caused the master bedroom to be very light at night. I would not say you could read a book by the light but it was difficult to sleep with so much light in our room. I finally stuffed some extra pillows in the high opening which blocked the light and made sleeping easier. Of course I removed the pillows each morning so the air could flow in and around the bathroom and shower. My first impression is very bad but once you get there this is a very nice resort. The only way to get to Sabal Palms is to drive over a half mile behind the Orlando World Center Marriott, so you are driving past the loading docks and storage containers. I felt like I was using the back door. This was a quiet place. It looks like the families use Imperial Palms (3 bedroom suites) so the Sable Palms was quieter. Next time I may use Royal Palms. All three resorts (Imperial Palms, Royal Palms, and Sable Palms) are on the same property and can share all of the amenities.”

“I've been going to this resort for about 15 years now, and it is better than ever! The staff is courteous and professional, and the amenities are top notch! My only regret is having to leave...????”

“Great resort stay. The kids enjoyed the pool & my wife & I were glad to have time in the hottub. Sauna was a bit confusing to turn on but glad to experience aromatherapy steam room! (Great idea) The only complaint would be shower head & the water that turns iceberg cold unexpectedly while you showered! Other than that, we REALLY enjoyed our stay. Beds & pillows are comfortable!”

“First time staying at a Disney Resort and I can't find any faults really. I am not a campsite sort of person, but here you get the full Davy Crockett vibe, with NO hardship. Bit of an information overload at check-in, but don't let that put you off. We are staying at the `Cabins at Fort Wilderness'. They are super cute, immaculately clean with nice touches of the "bigger brother' resort Wilderness Lodge. The internal transport is easy to use and regular for getting to the various amenities within the resort. Connecting to other services to the Parks is very efficient and simple to use. The boats to Magic Kingdom, Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge and quick and regular. The atmosphere is very peaceful and family friendly. Other guests and cast members are so nice and helpful. It's very close to Magic Kingdom, but feels very calm to come back to after an exhausting Disney Day. Some guests might feel its a bit spread out and you do have to use the internal buses or carts to get about, but everything is still within 15 minutes walking distance and the woodland is beautiful and filled with wildlife. Can't recommend it highly enough.”

“This is an awesome place to stay for families. So much space for kids to run around. Having our own cabin was great for our family. We had Amazon deliver groceries so we could use the kitchen. It was great to make breakfast for everyone before we got started each day. Since the cabins are not the closest to Magic Kingdom it would keep everyone satisfied enough so we could at least make it to the park. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Although a golf cart isn't necessary... it was certainly nice to have to drop the kids off quickly at the pool or playground.”

“Disney's Wilderness Resort & Campground is one of the nicest campgrounds most people would visit. 800 campsites 400 cabins 2 Trading Post restaurant, bar. A lot of activities within a campground. Easy access to the parks. Somewhat expensive for what you get. We have stayed in some of the resorts for Less per night. Do not come early before your check in time or you will be turned away.”
