“Awesome hotel location for our vacation as our plans went 1.5 hrs in each direction from this site. Hotel staff was absolutely awesome to work with and very accommodating. Modest price for this hotel and location considering today’s prices. Hotel is located in-between Clearwater and Dunedin (which is a hidden gem) and right across the waterfront. Hotel is very clean and well taken care of. Staff mentioned that the hotel is going through another renovation next year so prices may increase. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“This was a great experience for a college spring breaker. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nice and spacious. It included a kitchen, but warning there was no oven. It came with a microwave, full size refrigerator and sink with utensils including pots and pans! I would recommend this place for all. Unfortunately, it was really hard to get a hold of the front desk whenever we needed anything considering there is no office at The Reef and it is instead 2 buildings over. Would love to come again! The area that all the spring breakers go to is about 10 minutes away and not too bad of a walk.”

“Family stay with small children* We’ve stayed at a few different Cambria locations (from TX to CA) with good experiences, and decided to try the Fort Lauderdale location. Check-in was relatively smooth, small wait time while Locating a room with a bathtub. Modern hotel, nice decor and ambiance with a uniquely pleasant scent. Staff were friendly, some new and not as knowledgeable, but nice nonetheless. Once checked into our room, we did encounter a few issues in which maintenance teams were called to ‘service’ our room. Ultimately we were relocated to a different room, and this room had a balcony which was a nice bonus. This relocation was resolved after a brief conversation with the manager. Pretty convenient overall with close proximity to most importantly the beach, but also parks, shopping and grocery etc. There are also two restaurants and bar area conveniently located within the hotel which is a plus. (With happy hour).. Pricing is pretty average for the area. Cambria is roughly a block away from the beach short walk, not a lot of activity at this immediate location. There was mention of chairs available for rental near the valet area. Valet is the only parking option at $35~ per day plus taxes. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend giving it a try for yourself. Thank you to Kara for personally assisting us.”

“My wife, two puppies and myself rented the Blue Lagoon bungalow from Rich and Ali of Siesta Bungalows for 6 months while relocating. From the moment of first contact, through to vacating we had the most wonderful experience. This absolutely fully furnished property is a true gem. Minutes walk or cycle to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the vibrant village of Siesta Key. Palm Island, where the property is found, is like stepping back in time. A wonderful friendly and beautiful neighborhood. The property is exceptionally decorated, immaculately clean and well furnished. We needed only turn up with our clothes, everything else was catered for. I cannot recommend Siesta Bungalows enough and will happily direct any visiting family or friends their way. Rich and Ali are two of the most warm & friendly people we have met. Unbelievably welcoming and accommodating, who we now regard as close friends. From Palm Island, after vacating, we relocated just down the road, they welcomed us into the community, introduced us to their lovely friends and also us to their wealth of local contacts to assist in the updating of our new home. To reiterate, if you are looking for a hassle free, wonderfully maintained and beautiful property to rent in the Sarasota area, I implore you to look no further than Siesta Bungalows. I assure you, you will have a superb experience with these down to earth, honest and generally delightful people.”

“Found this place on a last minute trip to the island. The 1bedroom was perfect for our family of 4. Living room, a full kitchen, a sofa bed. Comes fully furnished. They have a washer and dryer free to use. The pool is always clean as well as.the spa. Paul greeted us nicely. Take advantage of the weekly rate if planning a vaca. Had I known would have done it. The beach is within walking distance. Great place and will be back soon.”

“There is construction going on, the room had a pretty bad paint job (big yellow spot where they replaced the breaker) and they wouldn't allow late check out even though the whole place was practically empty (10am is too early). Don't mind site construction but could have been given a heads up. Place was nice clean and comfy, and staff was responsive over text. I think it's a bigger company managing the property which explains the shortcomings. There was flooding and construction on the adjacent street (had to walk extra blocks to get to the beach) which is no big deal but they could have warned us as well. Basically less than advertised but good experience.”

“My husband, daughter, and I stayed at Holiday Cove RV Resort for 2 weeks. We had an amazing experience there! The place is absolutely beautiful and charming. It is a great location and easy to get to Ana Maria Island so quickly. The best part about this place is the people there! Gary was extremely kind and helpful with getting us checked in. The folks that work there day to day are beyond helpful and accommodating. By the end of the trip, I felt like we were saying goodbye to family. “This was a perfect getaway for my husband and I along with our two little doggies. It was hidden away in a nice quiet area, very peaceful, with a glorious view of the water. Nothing like taking your coffee out on the patio in the early morning while the boats pass by and beautiful herons stand not two feet from you. So peaceful and serene. You are greeted with an apartment that has ample space, a full kitchen with all the amenities, and even a wonderful basket of goodies. Everything you need is right there to include beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, and even treats and toys for our fur babies. You feel like family when you are there! The gorgeous beach is only a 2 minute walk along with wonderful restaurants, bakery, and ice cream shop. Most places are within walking distance. There is a nice park and historical site nearby as well. Mary is the perfect hostess who welcomes you with kindness, care, and is always there to answer questions or fulfill needs you might have. She makes you feel extremely welcome. Thank you for a stay we will not ever forget, enjoyed every moment and look forward to future visits!”

“Really enjoyed my stay. Off season and discounted as they are doing some remodeling of the restaurant I wasn't expecting much. What I got was exactly the opposite. The manager put forth every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and spacious in a 118 year old building way. I'm not sure what people complaining about room size were expecting. It's in the heart of a very nice shopping and entertainment district with everything I needed in short walking distance. Breakfast was delicious with a quiet porch to eat it outside. Can't recommend this place highly enough.”
