“Such a wonderful campground! My husband and I came for a weekend to get away from the craziness and the hustle and bustle and Poplar Point was too perfect. The sites are really well-spaced out and everything is so clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the trails and lake access are so convenient and clean too! If you are unable to reserve a site ahead of time and have to grab a FF (first come first serve) site like we did, be sure to get there before 5 on Friday to make sure there are sites available because they fill up FAST and there’s a line to check-in. All in all, such a great and beautiful place!!”

“This is old school Florida. Everything is updated and yet it is still historically significant. The landscaping, pool area, and dock side are darling and feels like home. Everything is well stocked in each individually owned unit. These owners care about their property and the caretakers of the public areas care. The location is quiet and yet an easy walk to the shopping, restaurant, and Florida activities. You can even do Bay Area water sports just out your front door. Stay! Relax! Play! Loved it so much”

“I think this hotel deserves a more balanced review. Look, it wasn't a high end, fancy hotel, but it was also the cheapest hotel available in the area. The front desk lady who greeted us late at night was very friendly and made us feel welcome (she was from Jamaica and is a great hotel worker). The room was fine: could use updating, but it was clean as expected. The facilities all worked. The breakfast with coffee, waffles, cereals, boiled eggs, toasts, and milks/yogurts was also fine. You'll be just fine and happy staying here if it's the cheapest option in this range.”

“This place is awesome, quiet, a nice sized suite with kitchen, yard. Reasonably priced considering the area. On-site laundry a peach to have. I had a wonderful time during my stay - Safety Harbor is quite walkable and interesting. There is a festival of some sort most every week-end. I will be coming back next year for a longer time.”

“The amenities here are amazing with a great big pool and beach front property to walk right on the sand from your hotel room. Because of Covid the restaurant and tiki bar are closing early but that will change after all this is over. The lobby is really cool looking the valet works fast and are great people. I really enjoyed my stay here and will be back this month in October.”

“Where do I start. Amazing guest service. Shout out to Philip who held our luggage while we waited for our late flight. He made sure we had an amazing stay. Philip was super nice. One of a kind. Thank you for helping us out when it started pouring out and you gave us towels and let us change in the bathrooms. The rooms are super clean and the hotel house keeping literally clean everything including the blinds. Very clean and perfect location if you like to be right on the ocean drive strip in front of the beach! Breakfast was at Havana restaurant and it was such a great experience. Juancarlos thank you for your hospitality and taking care of my reservation to add extra nights. Will definitely stay here again.”

“Incredible and amazing for a 3-star hotel! There is everything you could want in good condition. Working air condition, private (attached) restroom, up to date T.V. with streaming services, a gym, places to get food, pools, a bunch of nearby stores, and close to the Disney parks, all for a cheap price! A tour company booked this hotel for us and I was surprised to find out it was only 3-stars! Did not have any issues and really liked it. Will definitely come again on my next trip to Orlando and the parks.”

“Okay so some people on here have to be dramatic. My friends and I were scared to see our room because of other reviews but when we got here it’s literally fine. We stayed in building 2. Room is fine. Heat and AC both work quick. It was clean when we walked in. Has a working TV, shower is all good, beds were made and clean. I’m confused why others rated it so low? Did they expect a 5 star updated hotel at $100 a night price? Seems like it. The front desk staff is helpful and nice. I genuinely have no complaints. There’s even a little foyer with a couch, big windows, a microwave, and fridge. 10/10 would stay here again because it’s so cheap and right on the beach. Lots of places to walk to from here. Haven’t tried the pool but it looks nice.”
