“This is such a beautiful wetland. Love riding my bike out here, or taking a walk. You will see gator, deer, if you super lucky boars. Easy to find your way around. They have parking. Be mindful, that if their is heavy rain. Some parts of trails are not accessible. Only part I don’t like is they shut and open the gates at inconsistent times.”

It has a marshland around the outside perimeter. Wild life is abundant in the marsh and on the island. Oh yea , it is beautiful. You can leave from The Docks at Marsh Landing on Shingle Creek off of Pleasant Hill Rd for a nice paddle out to the island. Kayak and canoe rentals as well as guides available at The Docks.”

“Beautiful park with plenty of room to roam or sit and read or just simply relax. We found some friendly birds the day we were there by the pond and museum. We spotted a small gator in the lake just across the street. Beautiful large trees to lounge under and lots of tables with grills. Definitely enjoy this park. There's playground equipment and a splash zone for the kiddos.”
