Limited parking, parking along road is not prohibited (Judging by the amount of people who do park on the road, check for yourself if you want to be sure). Busy on the weekends. “The aren't any trash cans or bathroom facilities or running water. There is dilapidated permanent porta potty. Some people come here to fish, the are alligators some of them pretty big. Other than those minor nuisances, it is good as it filters the water before going into the Everglades.”

“Though not much in the way of scenery, if you want a bit of solitude it's a good start. It's nicer in the cooler months, but don't let the heat during the rest of the year dissuade you from taking the trip out. You'll usually find people on mountain bikes and some runners. I myself made the trip from here up to the Atlantic/Sawgrass trailhead to the north on a run one evening. If you're a serious trail runner, it's a great mental exercise, as it's a nearly straight shot and it's difficult to gauge your distance.”

“Fun place to bike if you want to get away from the asphalt. The levee trail is gravel/sand and takes you through nature. On some sections, you can look for miles around and not see any sign of civilization.”

“A cute place where the staff are very zen. The staff display wuire a bit of knowledge zoologically have a great love for the animals they tend at the park. There would be great value for school zoology and biology trips to the park in order to educate children in a fun environment. Lots of shaded areas so the walk through the park is quite pleasant.”

“The new park is awesome!!!! The equipment is great and was endless fun for our 2 rambunctious boys. Just wish there was a covered pavilion area for us to eat sandwiches. Luckily I had our soccer net holder to spread out to eat on because the ground was wet from rain. There are a couple benches but a park that large should have tables. Other than that the park was amazing. And having the open area for soccer and other activities is perfect. We drove passed several parks from St. Cloud to come here.”
