“Little hidden gem. Nice and relaxing once you pass the road and can no longer hear the cars driving by. According to our GPS it was a 3 mile hike from start to finish if you stayed on the red trail, however there were shorter routes for those of you who might not want a long hike. Went on a Monday afternoon not many people around. The ground was pretty dry except for two area which were easy enough to get around. If your looking for something to do this might be just the right thing. It’s free and relaxing. Unfortunately we did not get to see many animals except for a few birds. Maybe next time. Will definitely be back.”

Pinehurst Mountain Bike Trail

Address: 2400 Pinehurst Dr, Greenacres, FL 33413, USA

Park

“So being a novice MT biker, I found this trail to be technical for my skill level. It has a few man made obstacles and some made from the environment. The trail is marked well with Green, blue, and diamond areas. The diamonds have obstacles that require one to be out of the saddle and use ones weight over the bike, one should be able to do small bunny hops and be able to adjust your gears properly. Blue runs can be technical with some areas being narrow passages between trees and be able to manipulate some roots on the trail. Considering myself novice I was able to handle the blue runs easily and was able to handle the ramp climb and stair drops.”

Around the pump house were at least 4 gators, some you easily walk right up to. And the view across the lake was clear and spectacular! I loved the blue water reflections against the greens and yellows of the marsh grasses, with hidden birds here and there... I highly recommend it!”
