“We enjoy bringing our pup up here. The facility is large enough for the dogs to run around and get rid of some energy. They're closed on Wednesdays but it's than that there's a bunch of folks generally around so your dog will have others to play with”

“Great park for kids”
Address: 1000 Central Winds Dr, Winter Springs, FL 32708, USA
“Great park for family events, company picnics, and recreational activities, including soccer. The parking has been vastly improved making it easier to find the back playground and pavilions. The sand volleyball courts are well kept and there is plenty of shade to avoid the sun. The playground, in the back area, is probably intended for older kids ~ 4+ but still toddler friendly with a sandbox. Lots of area to spread out or have a group game.”

“LOVE THIS PARK! They have a little bit of everything, baseball fields, a playground, a volleyball sand pit, a skate park, and a basketball court. The skate park has a snack bar that is available when the skate park is open. Otherwise you are forced to use the water fountains on property. The basketball courts are all double rimmed, which are primarily used for rebound practice, but I suppose the city saw them as "Sturdy" . The grass is always cut, the pavilions are clean, and there are no homeless to be seen.”

“For a County owned and run park, this park is so much more than we had expected. It is secured with a gate, well run and managed, well maintained, and the scenery is beautiful. We've never been anywhere with such a wide variety of birds and other local wildlife. The place is just beautiful, especially the RV sites on the lake. It is surprising how well Palm Beach County keeps this RV park up. The rates are very reasonable. We hope to return here the next time that we visit the area. The bathrooms seemed a bit dated but we used our own in the RV. We felt safe, comfortable and very content in the park, which by the way has a volunteer security patrol regularly. Can't wait to return”

“For some reason there is a separate listing for the Lake Apopka Loop Trail. This is also known as the Magnolia Park Trailhead (that park is across the street and I didn't go over there). You'll find more reviews if you search for that. I'll leave my review on both. This is the new trailhead park for the east end of this trail. There is a decent amount of parking, water fountains, nice playgrounds, bathrooms that were small but pretty clean, volleyball courts, picnic tables, and probably even more stuff that I didn't notice. I was just there for a run. The trail is 14.6 miles and water is scarce! Make sure you bring enough. The first half mile or so is paved but becomes hard packed gravel once it leaves the road. There is very little shade but the views are beautiful! I ran out 4 miles to the Historic Pump House and back, (porta johns and picnic tables are there but no water) and saw countless types of birds, a cottonmouth snake and heard a gigantic splash from the swamp (presumably a gator). The trail sits between the lake and a swamp that is mostly hidden from view behind rows of trees. BTW - It didn't smell swampy when I was there. This was my "destination" run during a business trip to Orlando and I wasn't disappointed. If I'm ever back in the area, it would be fun to bike the trail (best to use a hybrid or mountain bike).”
