“We absolutely LOVE this KOA Campground! It is one of our favorites ever, and our second time staying there. We cannot say enough about it…easy to get to, excellent customer service, and our parking spot, #84, was the BEST we’ve had!! We swam in the pool, took our dogs on many walks!! This is THE campground for anyone in the area!!”

“Absolutely beautiful park, both camping and swimming. The bathrooms in the campground were kept very clean, and everyone was very pleasant. A bear did walk through our site one night, but no damage was done. The water wasn't too cold which made it even better. The tubing was about 8 minutes from start to middle, but from middle to end there wasn't much current, so we didn't complete the run but once. I wouldn't suggest going without a tube because some spots are really rocky.”

“Beautiful complex for baseball/softball. Sight lines are a little tuff because of palm trees and fencing. Alot of money was spent on this complex, please spend $20.00 more and put numbers on the fields!!!”

“Great place to bike or walk and view wildlife. Saw a lovely tortoise and some cool birds while passing through this preserve to Robinson. Great gravel trails that are nicely maintained and flat. Some parts of the preserves trails and the main lookout spot are not shaded, so bring water and keep that in mind.”

“I now have 3 of the large units set up. I had such great luck with the first one that my husband insisted he buy me two more so I could cut down on my individual pots and here in the Florida sun not worry so much when we are away! We live in a condo and these are on my balcony growing tomatoes, peppers, basil, mint and parsley. So far - several months since the first one - and one month since the 2 additional - having great success. Every time I have had a question - even gardening question, I pick up the phone and call the number on the unit and get great advice - first call. Excellent customer support. I have been growing vegetable in pots for years on my deck and this is the most successful crop yet! Thanks!”

“We had the pleasure of spending entire month of March and we did not regret it. There were activities everyday and rode our bikes to the island at least three times a week. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. We booked our stay for next year and are thinking about at least two months if not more. Restaurants and grocery shopping are nearby.”

“This place is legendary. This was my second visit with my first having been over 18 years ago. I was over the top excited and not disappointed. If you love all things wild this is a magical experience. Being with a group of Wildlife professionals It was great that our tour guide catered the experience to our knowledge. Its a great alternative to traditional zoos and you can be assured that your money is going somewhere good.”

“This 300 acre preserve is one of the many Southwest Water Management District Lands. It is a beautiful example of Central Florida's unique ecosystems, from scrubs to cypress swamps. This property is divided into two sections. The northern property is about 6 miles by road (see website listed for directions and map). The entrance is off Horseshoe Creek Road. There is no water or restrooms but there is a nice parking area and kiosk at both. Note: The site is called different names by the different management partners. The sign at the North entrance says, Lake Marion Creek Management Area, Horse Creek. The preserve is on the border of the South Florida Water Management District to the East and the South West Water Management District on the West. The Recreation Guide of the Southwest Management District Lands calls the site, Lake Marion Creek Horseshoe Scrub Tract. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission is also part of the Cooperative and there is a sign here by them that says Lake Marion Creek Wildlife Management Area. If that isn't confusing enough it is also managed with the Polk County Board of Commissioners.”

“Best Zoo I have ever visited! It is beautiful to see the education along the way for the public and ways that we can help make a change globally. Natural habitat exhibits and we spent 4 hours walking which felt like it went so fast. Every turn there is another animal to see and learn about!”
