“Great service, Carl in the service department sends an email right back to me when I have questions almost immediately. When I have requested service, it is usually timely. A few times I was not charged for mobile service and then without notification, I was, but when I inquired with management, it was waived for only an additional time. Josh the St. Pete Gulfport Manager waived it for me and I appreciate it since it was almost $300. I now understand there is a charge. I will be bringing my boat in for bottom painting this Friday. MarineMax was able to grant this request within a week. Again, Carl has been great about communicating with me to make arrangements to bring in my SeaRay and stated it will take about a week. That’s reasonable since I can’t use the boat during the week due to work and can do without it this weekend. The only issue I have with MarineMax is pricing. They are a little high for the 100 hour service, but just by a little; however, that’s gas money ($900 v $700 I paid for my 200 hr. with another company). For the bottom paint job, I was quoted $2300 and another competitor was $2000 but could not get it done until late August. Update, just had bottom paint job done within the time specified and looks great. Hopefully it does it’s job and anti-fouls well. Price was the exact quoted. I’ll see in a few weeks. Didn’t realize Carl had already left MarineMax when I went to pick up my boat and saw Ben Tenney there, who is also awesome with communication and needs. He was able to get me out the door and out to sea. Thanks, guys and MM!”

“I asked them to build me a transmission that I would not have to worry about with the weight I pull and my current hp. I also wanted some growing room for future hp upgrades. They put a build list together and It pulls like a dream! Crisp shifts, no slip or flare. After picking up the truck and driving it a day or so the the torque converter started making a chattering sound. I took it back to them and they agreed that it did not sound right. They warranteed the convertor and replaced it no questions asked. Now the truck is perfect. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone of my friends.”

Todd is very knowledgeable and I was able to demo a couple boards as my goal was to have a hard board, displacement hull as an addition to my current first board an isup, planing hull… but had never paddled one. What I thought I would like did not end up being the one, when I paddled the one I bought it was like it had been waiting for me to find it! He is Not a native Spanish speaker yet in just one year he already can understand and speak some Spanish. “Purchased a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor from R&L this week. The vehicle, sitting pretty at 151k-ish miles was damn near immaculate inside and out. Pricing was fair and easy, met with Diego twice and on the second visit I decided to make the purchase. Communication was great, received texts and updates regarding the vehicle in the week leading up to me buying it, Diego had it washed, detailed, and sitting inside the show room waiting for me on the second visit. The purchase was quick and painless, Diego even knocked a bit off the price since I’m law enforcement, which I thought was awesome. Took the vehicle to a service center for review and was shocked when all I got was “We’re just gonna replace a coil because it’s old, it’s good to go.” Which is something I’ve never had happen when buying a used vehicle, especially a used police vehicle. All in all this has been the best experience I’ve had buying a used vehicle so far. No games involved, which was refreshing. The price negotiation was honest and straight forward. We did have a server start us out, and then it switched after our orders were taken (he was off ) but he did not relay to the new server that we needed to split the bill up. With a table of 8.5 you'd think they would ask. So1 person got the bill for the entire table. Aside from that, salad bar was yummy it had lots to chose from, certainly worth $6, and filling. The food we ordered was hot and delicious and our drinks stayed refilled! Also the bathrooms were clean. They even put a round table and a square table together the best they could to accommodate our group.”
