“I play softball here, my plan was to play Senior league. I play coed, park is clean has a clean snack bar. Cobb County sports are very organized and informative. I was notified in an appropriate time for registration. Brody is a very good director. I have really enjoyed playing with a very diverse team, mostly very talented players!¡!”

“A really nice place to walk in the woods. I’m from a rural area so this place felt nostalgic as I used to run around woods like this behind my house as a child. Feels like going on an adventure once you move into the trees. Godzilla (the dog) loves all the logs to jump over/crawl under and dip her feet in the water. There were a few snakes out there.”

“Small and simple, but great to disconnect from city life and relax. Update: this might be one of the best lesser known (from what I’ve seen) areas in the Atlanta metro area. Never super crowded, chill environment, and there’s also a wetlands and walking path if you want to do something other than beach. If you’ve got kids, there’s a playing area adjacent and super convenient. Must visit if you live in the area.”

“One of the nicest walks I've taken in a long time. The tower does not have a 360° view. It might 180°, but I certainly prefer the shade camouflaging the 40 foot structure. I'd come back in other seasons too. Played some Flute for the tourists. Were you there? Follow me to find me out on America's Byways, forests, and swamps.”

“You can't change history, but if you're smart you remember and learn from it. The earthworks are preserved very well and it's hard to image that such a big important battle was fought here.”

“Leake Mounds is another even earlier native American site built by the Swift Creek Culture and dating to what is known as the Middle Woodland period. This goes back to the prehistoric era between 300 BC and 600 AD. The interpretative trail of 18 markers covers around three kilometres. It details the archaeological finds discovered during digs, and what they mean for our understanding of this period of history. The trail takes in the remains of three mounds, as well as a large semi-circular ditch or moat, and a midden – a prehistoric landfill site.”

“One of my favorite places to hike. This park has a diversity of terrain and trails that are not commonly seen at a park. You can walk paved roads or hike off trail. You can walk next to a lake, or hike up rocky terrain, or walk through a forest. I love it. Check out some of my pictures”

“This was my first time ever hearing of this place. My daughter did a google search for somewhere in John's Creek to have fun. This is the place she chose. The staff was very friendly and helpful. She had soooo much fun. We even noticed an escape room and a paintball room. Not only is it a place for kids, it's a place for adults to enjoy too. Very affordable from playtime to snack time. Thanks for the experience. We'll be back soon.”

“What a nice place to camp. We stayed right on the water for a week. Close to Lakepoint ball fields! Great swim area right in front of our campsite. We had family and friends come stay at the campground too. The boys rode their bikes, swam in the pool, fished and played lots of basketball. Check in was easy and the security was great. We will go back to this campground. Very family friendly and great memories!”

“This park is AWESOME! Expect it to be busy because of it being so cool, but my little ones had a blast here. We went to the splash park first, great for toddlers or younger children, then let them dry off over at the playground. The roller-coaster swing is very unique and a crowd favorite for obvious reasons, but the rest of the playground doesn't disappoint either. Wish they had shade for us parents though... 😪”

“Awesome outdoor lake/beach. There's enough parking, barbecue areas and benches. The sand is nice and soft. You see nice boats and jet skis. The lake/beach is huge so there is plenty of room for everyone. Parking is $5 per vehicle for the entire day which is great compared to other places. You can bring your own food and beverages. It's family friendly and just an overall great place and enjoy the water.”

“I've been coming here pretty much my whole life, and they've kept up with the park very well. We just got a park pass so that we can come here even more often. Don't miss out on the second half of the park which has a separate entrance. There are lakes, walking/biking paths, an archery range, pavilions, and camping. Lots of open space to explore!”

“This park has a big open field, a play ground, lots of open picnic tables and a large gazebo along with a stage & a tennis court. There are also great trails to walk or ride your bike. The park is clean and right behind the police station. Great place to spend the day outdoors with the family! They have added a new splash pad for the kids to enjoy but the last two times I've gone it was closed.”

“Sometimes Feral animals come your way they may just pick you indirectly & simply trust you enough to ask for help. I E-mailed! the staff about a beautiful kitty mommy that was abandon by previous apartment dweller in my neighborhood. I explained to the staff I took care of the furry family as long as I could however I was desperate to find a facility that would take good care of them and find them a forever loving home. Furkids animal rescue welcomed the Fury family in with loving arms! 🐈🐾❤️ My faith in humanity has been restored. God bless such a wonderful staff with beautiful and loving welcoming hearts!”
