“I have been going through something and through everything, I forgot to order my son a birthday treat to share with his class until the day before! I called another grocery store first but they told me they couldn’t take my order unless it was within 24 hours and understandably so. I called the Hickory Flat Kroger bakery and Miss Ann picked up. I told her I had a very last minute order and would understand if she couldn’t take it. She did not hesitate to tell me she would do it for me! She heard the quiver in my voice and immediately began to reassure me all would be ok and spoke to me as if I was a good friend. When I picked it up, she told me I had been on her mind all day and helped me get it into my cart. She told me she had once been in my shoes and that she understood how I felt. She left me with more encouraging words and a smile on my face. This wonderful woman it truly a light in a very dark time in my life! Kroger is very lucky to have such an amazing lady on their team.
